Coincidentally, the kindergarten was located very close to Austin's office taking them only 10 minutes before they arrive there.

Since Austin liked his surroundings to be quiet when he worked it was a very rare occurrence for so many people to be in his office.

Usually, the only people he permitted to enter were Jackson and Felix, but now that he found Amara, one more person was going to be added to that list.

Once they arrived at the building Austin took Amara's hand and personally led her into his office. The hand that was within his grasp was soft and smooth with no signs of any roughness but he couldn't help but think it was much too thin! Has he not been feeding her enough?

He put this thought at the back of his head for the time being and focused on the problem that he was currently faced with.

The moment he opened the door, Jessie, Felix, and Jackson were already present. He strode into his office with Amara's hand still in his and sat behind his oak wood desk.

He then placed Amara on his lap like it was the most natural thing to do.

The rest of the group could only internally shake their heads not having enough courage to tell him off, but even if they did, chances were that they would only be ignored and receive a death glare.

Austin glanced at Amara making sure that she wasn't uncomfortable but seeing as she did not struggle but instead made herself comfortable the corners of his lips couldn't help but tug upwards.

From her position Amara was able to see everyone in the room, her steady eyes moved over each of them. She didn't know why but she had a feeling that something was not quite right.

Her gaze shifted towards the red-haired woman and to the little boy in her arms who's head was half-buried in his mother's chest.

The moment her eyes landed on her, Lucy immediately felt someone staring at her. Her heart thumped in her chest with nervousness and unease, she made no effort to locate the origin of those eyes but still instinctively knew whose they were.

"Felix, who is she mated to?" Asked Austin.

Her eyes widened as she felt her stomach drop. Tears threatened to spill any minute as her eyes became red. Paired with her stunning beauty, it would have been hard for any normal man to stop himself from pitying her, but of course, Austin and Felix weren't exactly normal.

"Please... no, I'm sorry— I made a mistake please it's my fault" she begged.

Felix did not even spare her a glance as he ignored her pleas and reported his name.

"Clemente West"

Because many people viewed Felix as a competent and hardworking man, they tend to overlook his naturally cold and apathetic temperament. Most people just think that he was polite and reserved but the people close to him knew how calculative he can be— weighing the pros and cons of every situation deciding which course of action would lead to the best outcome.

The only people that were not subjected to this attitude were his friends (that could be counted on one finger), his father, and of course Jessie.

It's not easy to get into his small circle, some might say that it was easier to climb the highest mountain in the world, but if you were lucky enough to be apart of it then he would not hesitate to raise your to the heavens but slight him, and you will be dragged to the depth of hell.

"Clemente West is one of our warriors" he continued "He's 29, turning 30 this year. He and his family joined the pack 6-7 years ago. From where is unknown but his uncle was the one who invited him to live here."
