There's Dino and There's You (BL)

Chap Three:Spirit Whisperer

The Chief looks old but his body is full of muscles.
Everyone in the tribe went to fight the lone dinosaur that actually went to their tribes territory.

Andy stares at them with a strange eyes.

'They are killing the dinosaur with sharp sticks?'

There is nothing in front of him but blood shed.
The dinosaur is too big.
The men who stupidly rush to the dinosaur got swift by the tail and then went staggering from a far then went to fight the beast again.

A small child with a scary eyes came to him.
"Hide." She said.

Andy mechanically went with the girl to hide.

"What will happen if they can't kill that thing?" He asks trembling.

"Then we escape." The girl said.
The girl is small and her skin is dry. She is so thin too like some sort of twigs.
But her eyes are clear and strong unlike Andy.

Andy gulps and looks very worried.

After a while the man who get his ID but didn't gave it back lifts in the air and successfully stabbing the Dino head.
The stick he is using breaks in the middle and he fell to the ground with a huge creaking sound but his attack is the finishing blow.
The monster fell down.
Cheers.
Everybody cheer up happily.
There are two men unmoving in the ground.
And the man who killed the dino is limping as he stands.

'Crazy!' They attack without thinking for their own well being.

The two men who died are put in the tribes entrance.

Andy who is kneeling in the floor is looking at the two dead bodies.

'Sick. This is sick!'

He blinks seeing one of the men muscle move.

"He is dead." The man said and pats the woman and the child..
The two cried.
But the rest are happily preparing to eat meat.

"Excuse me...He is alive..I just see him move." Andy said.

The chief eyes widen.
"Are you a spirit whisperer?"

"A what?"
Andy panics at the Chief's glistering eyes.
"There are people who can hear dead people and help them guide back to their body."

"No! NO!" His eyes widen and shakes his head.
What kind of person said he can guide the soul of the dead.

"Then can you heal him?"
The man limping his legs asks.

"I....I don't...." Andy looks at the people staring at him.
He gulps.
At least, the one who has the most knowledge about taking care of someone appears to be him?
"I don't...I am not sure but can I try?"

They all look at each other.

"Can you really save my husband?"

The woman said and holds his hand.

"No. I am just going to try."

"Anaria, Don't push him. Guiding the dead soul is not an easy task."
The chief said. "You. Help the spirit whisperer and put these two in that abandoned house."

The men went and carry the two men who is still unmoving.

Andy is shaking.
If he failed.
Will they kill him?
But....But he can't just try. These primitive people will bury a living person!!
His conscience can't just say nothing.

But what to do? He is not a doctor. He knows some basic life support but--yes...Check their breathing.

It is weak but they are breathing.

See.

He is not a doctor.
He didn't even check it immediately!

He is so stress he went back and fort.

"Ah! Clean! Injured or not, they should be clean. Bucket of water....hot.. should be warm." He wants to go out to get clean water but the tall man appear in his face.

"Ah!"

The man's chest are really robust.
He also can jump from a tall tree like monkey. Yet his face is beautiful. He can't tell if he is a native filipino since his nose are tall and his height....They all tall he looks smaller.

"Where are you going?"
His manly deep voice echoed in the quiet cave.

"Wa--ter?"

"You need water? I'll get it."

"I also need cloth and the water should be warm."

"Cloth?"

"Ah..... My...My bag. There is tow--- Can you get it?"

He is not sure if they know towel. They are all wearing a skin hide it's scary.

"I will get it."

Seeing him limping he fall down in the floor.

"I ask an injured person to fetch my things. Will I still go to heaven?"

"Uhhh..."

Andy stood up and looks at the two patient.

"Okay. My survival will base on you two.
Now wake up like nothing happened!" He said but there's only small groan.

"Uh...Is it painful? Where does it hurt?"
He asks putting his ears near the man's lips.

The children are watching the spirit whisperer.
They all shudder seeing the whisperer talks to the dead.

"Scary! What a scary person."

"But if he can heal them we will have a spirit whisperer!" A little girl said.

"Hmp. I doubt he can do it."
A small boy said.

A girl who talks to Andy hits the smaller boy.
"If he failed, Nono's dad will die!"

The boy sadly looks down.
"Sorry."

"Let's help Sulaya fetch the spirit whisperer's thing."

"Okay."

Andy remember he is still wearing his damp clothes. He wants a change of clothes but where will he get something like that here? It is better to ask for leaves than ask for a change of clothes.

When the man came back the little girl from before is also carrying his bag.

"Oh. Thanks." He smiles at the girl.

The girl shyly run away.

"Okay...Did I sound creepy?" He panthom.

"Here is the water." The man place a wooden basin and put it down.

He starts cleaning the first guys body.

'Filthy!' He is so shock since he is just in the face and arms. The man is so filthy,he is not sure how this person is not yet dying from all the filth in his body.

"Is what you are doing needed?" Sulaya asks.

Andy stares at him.
'Is this needed? Actually, you tell me. I have no idea. I am thinking between the lines, if I can't help you,I will clean you instead.'

"Yes. They need to be clean." He said with a straight face.

'If you will lie. You lie in a straight face.'

Sulaya nods.
"I will go get more water."

"Wait. I can do it. You are also injured."

Sulaya sits down.

He smiles wryly..
'Ah...Can you leave?'
