You And I

You and I
We were together
Yes, we burnt brighter than the stars could ever imagine
I was the head and you were my thoughts
Yes, we were the dream team
When the night appeared,
We went out and danced to the sweet scents of the blooming flowers
Yes, we danced our hearts out
Where have those days gone?

You and I
We should have stayed together
Yes, we fell apart
Not knowing why you left but I wish you stayed
Now when the night comes out,
I am tormented by the crickets' songs of death
Yes, I cry myself out now
Wondering where those beautiful moments have gone
Where have those days gone?
When birds could sing and the sky could smile
Where have those days gone?
When the moon would give us a spotlight as we danced to the sweet scents of the blooming flowers at night
Yes, I miss the times we painted our world with melodies
Yes, if only you and I could continue making our beautiful memories

Now that I am alone
One thing is clear
You were the best thing that ever happened to me.
I hope our memories will lead you back to me
To the time when our worlds become one again
and when the night overthrows the sun, sleeping flowers will awake to play us sweet songs with their beautiful scents
Yes, you and I would be dancing our hearts out again in the perfect world that we would create
