My Mates (Merformers x Reader)

Chapter 5

After Y/N got finally released from the hospital, the doctor gave her crutches and therapy to walk back to normal. Agent Fowler and June Darby are there for her with every step so that she would heal faster. 

Y/N walked with the support from the crutches. She's very careful to not get hurt or anything like that. Agent Fowler built a special small lift for one human. You only have to stand on it and it will move gently. 

Y/N stood on the lift while Agent Fowler told her to wait. He stepped up the stairs towards the Decepticons pod. Yes, the Decepticons. At least Agent Fowler was brave to handle them. 

"What do you want, fleshy?" said a male voice that belonged to Breakdown. He was annoyed.

"Get your leader. I have a surprise," Agent Fowler said in a serious tone. 

Breakdown was surprised by that and said nothing. He went to get his leader, Megatron. Once they both appeared, Megatron looked already pissed. His personality changed for good... "What do you want?"

"Relax. I only have a surprise. You'll be happy."

Megatron then got curious and had his arms behind his back. "Tell me. What's the surprise."

"Come out," Agent Fowler called out to Y/N.

Y/N then took a deep breath as the lift began to move gently. Once it stopped, she stepped out. Megatron's red eyes went wide open. "C-Caretaker?"

Y/N smiles. "Hey."

He then surprisingly swam towards the edge and used his mighty strong arms to pull himself up, Y/N fell gently on the ground surprised.

Megatron then very gently raised his big clawed hand and cupped her cheek. Agent Fowler then left them alone to give them a moment. Y/N couldn't help but blush at the affection that Megatron was showing. She leaned into his touch while her small (literally) hold his big one. 

"... You're really here."

"Yes... Yes, I am here," Y/N said with a smile.

"I heard what happened... So much changed ever since then."

Y/N showed then a sad expression. It was true. So many things changed ever since she was in a coma. She then had tears build up in her eyes. She couldn't help but cry quietly while Megatron stroked her cheek. She then pressed her forehead against his muscle build chest as Megatron moves his big hand to rub her back gently. Where was the old (and naughty) Megatronus? His eyes were once blue like Orion's... er Optimus'. 

"You can't walk normally, can you?"

Y/N pulled her head away from his chest to look up at him with teary eyes. "No... not yet, at least. It just... takes time. I was in a coma for a year so my brain forgot completely."

Metatron hummed in understanding. A big surprise, right? That he's suddenly so gentle and kind to Y/N? Well, she's his Caretaker after all since he was small. She's not only his Caretaker but also others. "... I'll order Knockout to do daily checkups on you. He's the medic of the Decepticons."

The whole Decepticons pond welcomed her.

Y/N only nodded as she took her time to spend time with Megatron. Once it was over, Agent Fowler helped her to walk towards the Autobots' pond. 

"Agent Fowler, what brings you here?" said a male's voice. However, it didn't belong to not any Merformers.

It was Jackson Darby, Jack for short. Ever since Y/N was in a coma, he came by for visits. He's not the only one. His friends, Miko and Raf, also began to visit very often. They all go together to high school and were in the same class. 

Agent Fowler looked over his shoulder. "Come out."

Everyone then looked confused, including the kids. Y/N then took another deep breath and stepped on the lift. It moved gently and stopped. She then walked using the crutches. Optimus' eyes went wide. His Caretaker... returned. 

"... Caretaker?"

"Wait, she's the 'Caretaker'?!" the girl named Miko exclaimed shocked.

Ignoring Miko's comment, she smiled at Optimus. "It's me, Optimus."

Optimus then swam towards the edge and opened his big arms to her. The other Merformers, the Autobots, watched with smiles. Y/N then carefully walled and fell right into his arms. She dropped the crutches and wrapped her arms around his neck and snuggled. Optimus was a calm leader that collected his emotions. He really almost cried! He's just so happy to see his Caretaker again!

Y/N then yelped in surprise as Optimus gently carried her in his arms as he swam around gently. Everyone smiled at the moment. Optimus then leaned his head down and rubbed it against hers, purring. Y/N smiled and giggled as she pets him. Miko couldn't help but take pictures. 

Man, what a reunion. But since Megatron and Optimus were adults, they fell in love with their Caretaker.
