It's been a week since I had my last encounter with Draco.

I still haven't kissed Cedric even though we've been hanging out every day.
I keep asking if he's okay about the first task but he always says 'I don't want to think about it Jess'

I get out of bed and put on a dark green Slytherin hoodie, jeans, and some black converse.

I walk out of my dorm and down the stairs to see Theo and Blaise sitting on the couches.

"Good morning" I say and sit next to Theo.

"Good morning" Theo smiles then slings his arm around me.

"We were all going to Hogsmeade later if you would like to join," Blaise says.

"I would love to" I smile.

I walk out of the common room dressed for fall weather. Even though it's fucking raining.

"Hey Jessa" Cedric walks over to me.

"Hey, the first task is coming, up" I nudge his shoulder.

"Stop talking about it" He sighs.

"Sorry I'm just worried for you" I sigh.

He takes my hand and pulls me towards the exit of Hogwarts.

"It's raining Cedric" I squeal.

"Does that matter" He chuckles and pulls me out into the rain.

"Cedric!" I laugh.

He takes my other hand and starts to spin me around.

"I don't want you to feel worried about me, I have this under control," He says as he brings me into a hug and I lean my head on his chest.

"I know, I just don't want you to get hurt" I sigh as we sway in the downpour.

He lifts me into the air and twirls me around, I bring my face closer to his, I was worried yet I knew that I felt safe in his embrace. I knew that if I kissed him I wouldn't be afraid.

"Do you want to?" He whispers as he brings me back down to his level.

"Yes," I bring his lips closer to mine and kiss him softly.
His lips tasted like the sweetest honey and I enjoyed every minute of that kiss.

I pull away and we were both smiling at each other.

"I wish that happened sooner" He smiles.

"And I wish I wasn't so soaked right now" I laugh.

"Let's go back inside" He chuckles.

We walk back inside and I forgot that I was going to Hogsmeade.

"Shit, I wish I could stay but I have to go," I say to Cedric.

"Okay," He smiles.

I side hug him and kiss his cheek.

"I will come and find you later, I promise" I smile and rush down the hall to the common room.
