Hiiiiiiiii!

I know I said like SEVERAL months ago that I'd stop posting on this story but a lot of people read this instead of my announcements on my page so I thought I'd just tell y'all on here.

Ok so I have a new story (as the title suggests)! It's called Heaven On Fire and it's far more mature and well thought out than this book. Not only that, but some of these guys may (or may not) make an appearance in that book 😏.

*whispers* they do, shhhhh

But yeah! Here's a little sneak peek to get y'all interested.

"BLAISE NIGHTSHADE usually hates mornings. They wake her up from her much-needed sleep and remind her of school. She has calculus first period too, so that makes her hate mornings just that much more. But today, she's grateful for her annoying alarm. It woke her up from the terrible dream that she was having.

Dream? More like flashback. She thinks bitterly as she brushes her teeth.

Once she finishes that, she quickly take a shower. Once she's done and she pulls on her cropped Pink Floyd T-shirt, some black leggings, and her favorite pair of combat boots, Blaise walks into her room and moves over to the small vanity opposite her door. She puts on her foundation, concealer, winged eyeliner, mascara, and lip balm to finish off her morning routine. Blaise ties her long, straight black hair into a lazy ponytail and makes sure that there isn't any black smudges on her soft, tan skin from her mascara. Her dull green eyes sweep over her body one last time to make sure that she looks presentable before she grabs her old, leather bag and hurries out of her apartment.

Blaise lives on the bad side of town. The side of town where parents tell their kids to stay away from because of the criminals that lurk in the shadows. Blaise doesn't own a car, not only because she can't afford one but because it would get stolen as soon as she pulled it into her shitty apartments parking lot, so she walks to school. Four miles everyday, to-and-from school. She would have a friend pick her up, but just like the kids at her school avoid her side of town, they avoid her as well. It's only her friend Spencer who talks to her at school. He's offered to drive her but Blaise doesn't take handouts.

The last time she did she ended up in a horrible situation.

After an hour, Blaise finally sees her school up ahead. She hates the place, she really does, but she's also glad to be out of her drab apartment. It's so small, cramped, and quiet. It doesn't feel homey at all. Not like the house she used to have, which was still small, but bright and cheery. If she was in a bad mood, she would just think of home and her day would get better. Now if she's in a bad mood, she just pulls out a cigarette and poisons her body.

"Blaise!" A familiar, deep voice calls.

Blaise tries to spot her friend Spencer in the crowd of students walking into school, but her short stature makes it impossible to see above most of the kid's shoulders. After a moment, she feels large hands on her waist and lips near her ear.

"You're here early," the husky voice whispers.

Blaise giggles when the person's breath hits her neck. "I woke up on time."

Spencer moves from behind his short friend to stand in front of her. He smirks down at the pretty girl, his eyes showing the lust he has for her. "Your ass looks amazing in these leggings."

Blaise rolls her eyes. "You say that with everything I wear."

He reaches down and squeezes her butt. "'Cause it's true."

Did I forget to mention that the two are friends with benefits? I did? Well, sorry.

Spencer O'Reily; five-foot-ten, dirty blonde hair, dark blue eyes, tan skin, seductive smile, and a flirty personality are all things Blaise would use to describe him. He's been friends with Blaise since freshman year, and friends with benefits since junior year. The two are seen as a couple at school, but they don't have any feelings for one another. In fact, they had a pact that if the other person started to fall for them, they would stop the whole "benefits" part of their relationship and go back to being just friends.

"Did you hear about the new kid?" Spencer asks Blaise as they walk towards the cafeteria to get breakfast.

Blaise furrows her brows. "What new kid?" She questions as she moves Spencer's hand away from her ass.

Spencer nods his head over to the front office. "That one," he says, referring to the tall boy standing at the desk, most likely getting his schedule.

Blaise's eyes trail along the boy's body, smirking when she likes what she sees. He's wearing a knitted, light blue sweater with a white shirt underneath, some light wash jeans, and pristine, white Converse. His outfit does nothing to hide his broad shoulders or toned legs, causing Blaise to lick her lips. Before she can see his full face, Spencer drags her into the cafeteria.

"I know that you're eye-fucking him right now, and that's all fine and dandy, but I'm fucking hungry and I'm not gonna wait for you to finish," Spencer whines, pulling her towards the line.

As they wait to get their breakfast, Spencer keeps teasing Blaise and giving her playful pats on the butt or twirling her hair, both things she hates him doing. Blaise curses him out as he keeps doing it after they've paid for their food. The two teens walk over to a table closest to the door and start to eat, enjoying their bland school breakfast in peace. It isn't until the loudest people in the cafeteria, the "popular" kids, quiet down that Blaise notices the new kid walking into the room. She's in the middle of scolding Spencer for touching her butt again when she pauses to take a good look at the face that belongs to the hot body she saw a few minutes ago.

Holy fuck, that boy is gorgeous. She thinks to herself as she takes him in.

And she's right. The boy has golden brown hair, caramel colored skin, beautiful grey eyes that are covered by stylish glasses, full, pink lips, and a sharp jawline. His eyes dart around the room nervously as he clutches onto both his schedule and backpack straps. He looks down at his shoes when he notices the people staring at him, and quickens his pace to sit down at an empty table.

Blaise smirks. Look at him, he's so nervous. She coos in her head.

Without a second thought, Blaise gets up from her seat and saunters over to the new kid, her signature smirk still on her face. When she gets up to the table, the boy looks up from his phone, shuts it off immediately, and gives Blaise an awkward smile."

*wiggles eyebrows* ikr, spoicy!

If you want more fluff, don't worry there's plenty, as well as sassy children and amazing best friends. Not to mention questionable style choices (yes, I've read the comments 😂)! So, if you're interested or just want to support me, take a look at Heaven on Fire! If you don't wanna read it but think your friend might, I'd really appreciate it if you could tell them about it.

Since everyone liked this book— which wasn't even close to one of my best works— I thought that maybe y'all should see something that is worlds better (in my opinion). There's actual conflict, character development, and just more deep and realistic situations going on. Not to mention ACTION 🥳🥳🥳

I freaking love action, omggggg.

Ok ok ok, I've talked a lot now. Just give it a chance, okay? And make sure to leave me constructive criticism!

Byyyyyeeeee 😘😘😘😘
