Guys, calm down. How are we almost at 5.5k reads?!

It was morning. The sun rose up and everything was normal. Frisk liked this time full of peace. So much has happened in such a short time, its nice to forget about it all for a short moment in a relaxing scenario.

"Frisk! Come on! We have things to do!" Chara shouted inside Frisks mind.

So much for peace, huh?

"Wait Chara! Let me at least get up!"

During the night, Frisk decided that she should visit Alphys and see if she had noticed Undyne's strange behaviour. She also wanted to visit Sans and Gaster Fraction to see how they were doing. Sans hadn't been seen outside of his house since the incident, so it would be nice to make sure he was okay.

Apparently, word had spread about VOID and his existence. The same thing can be said for Gaster Fraction. Gaster Fraction has been welcomed amongst the monsters of the surface, and people have been told about VOID's dangers.

Overall, things have been prepared for another attack from VOID.

Toriel and Asgore arent really that happy about Frisk wanting to be involved in the anti-VOID campaign, understandably. But due to Frisk's determination (which can easily be translated into stubbornness) they were able to get their way.

After a normal breakfast, Frisk rushed over to Alphys's house. She was welcomed and informed that Undyne went out for training.

"How are you doing Alphys?" Frisk kindly asked. Alphys looked over at her computer screen before replying.
"I've been working all night, trying to find out any information on VOID, but I cant seem to find anything." Alphys went over to the computer. She type a file path and opened a text document.

"This is the closest match on the subject VOID." She gestured to Frisk to read it.

Entry no. ???

The void. I'm going to call this place "the void". Im so close. The machine is almost done. Every day, I'm always thinking about it.

Determination.

It's so fascinating what it can do. It's so strong! What person thought of making a substance so strong it can break reality. Who coded this world. I already know it's not real!

I mean, you must have a brain the size of a dog's if you make this thing and expect me not to use it to escape!

But then, you have the idea that I'm coded to do this. Coded to think I can escape when all of this is planned ahead of time.

Either way, my void machine is almost complete. I have a backup plan if this fails. It's less of a plan, more of a person. A trusted person who means alot to me. I will leave them a message only they will understand. If this void is not the place I think it is, they can rescue me.

I have a switch.

Yes, a switch. The thing you switch on and off to make something happen.

If I come to the void and it's not the sanctuary I need it to be,I will flip the switch. If if is safe, i wont and they will not bring me out.

The switch does practically nothing, but erase 2 letters on a sheet of paper.

He will understand.

Right, 54?5

"It talks about a "void" but is it talking about VOID?" Alphys asked herself. Frisk looked at the text with interest.
"What's 54?5" she asked. Alphys looked at it again before replying.
"No idea" she sighed audibly. "I'm going to watch some Anime. Want to join?"
"Yeah!" Frisk replied excitedly.

"Frisk, we are getting off track. Just remember the plan."

The 2 friends watch anime's of all types for about 2 hours. Frisk knew that Undyne could be back soon so she decided to finally drop the question.

"Hey Alphys? Have you seen anything strange about Undyne recently?"
Alphys froze before turning to Frisk slowly. She got up and motioned to Frisk to follow. Frisk did so.

Its Frisk... she's too determined. I promised not to lie. After the amalgamated I promised to trust my friends. I cant be a coward. I'll tell her.

"I've noticed." Alphys started. "I caused it." Alphys looked at Frisk's confused face. "I extracted determination from her. I was just curious. Obviously, it caused a bigger impact than I expected." Alphys led Frisk to her lab room. Sticky notes were placed everywhere, with science equipment scattered across the room. Alphys let Frisk look around before continuing.
"I thought it was a scientific breakthrough. Determination can work in monsters as long as it's in the perfect amount and is natural. That's great! Right?" Alphys sighed once again. "I was too busy thinking of the positives that I didn't realise that it needed the perfect amount of determination to work in Undyne."

"Well that's dumb." Chara already connected the dots.

"I took determination out, and ruined that perfect amount. This caused her soul to go haywire and get rid of all her remaining determination." Alphys started crying before saying...

"I ruined Undyne! She can never be determined again! I cant get a perfect match of determination back in. I took some out and the rest has been discarded! She will forever be like this!"

Done! Sorry, but Undyne is forever non-determined. I can't be bothered with a fact so instead I'll say that the "gaster switch" has been pressed and the outcome has already been revealed in the book somewhere. Cam you find it. Cuz I foreshadowed it a while back. Anyway! Comment etc BYE!

I've been inspired by great fan art of VOID by a reader called GalaxiesBoss. I'm gonna try draw Sans on paper and see how good I can do. I'll put it on a future chapter.

Go check out their fan art on their art book btw.

GalaxiesBoss you amazing :)
