Getting the wand

we had been walking for awhile but didn't know how close we were so mal turned to evie "Come on. Check your mirror."

"Is my mascara smudged?" she asked turned to me and i looked "A little." i shrugged and she gasped grabbing it "And, hey, while you're at it, why don't you see If you can find us the wand?" she asked her and he nodded leading us to the museum

once we got there we looked through the door windows and we looked through seeing a security guard with some artifacts "That's your mother's spinning wheel?" jay laughed as it sat in the middle

"Yeah, It's kinda dorky." carlos added making me smack both here heads "It's magic. It doesn't have to look scary. "Magic spindle, do not linger. Make my victim prick a finger." she read as a few moments later the guard got

"Impressive." "I got chills." they both said sarcastically again making me smack them again as they groaned grabbing the back of there heads

"Okay, you know what? "Prick the finger, prick it deep. Send my enemy off to sleep." she read again and he did exactly that going right to sleep

"Not so dorky now, huh?" mal asked and when she went to open the door it was locked and jay smirked "Stand back." he said and we moved to the side as he walked backwards

i looked at mals book pointing to a spell and she smiled reading it as jay ran at the door ""Make it easy, make it quick, open up without a kick." she said as he did a flying side kick but the door opened sending him to the museum floor with a thud

we laughed and started walking threw the museum as evie tracked the wand so we went up a flight a stairs and passed a room with figures making us stop "Mommy?" evie questioned

"Killer." jay and i said breathlessly "I will never forget mother's day again." carlos said fearfully and after moments of silents jay broke it

"Well, the wand's not here. Let's bounce. Let's go." he said and us carlos and evie walked into the hallways "Um, Jayla." carlos called and i turned

"Yeah?" i asked and he took a breath "I was, uh wondering-" but he was cut off by evie "Where is mal?" she asked going back to the room with statues

carlos just turned back to me "So as i was saying-" he was then cut off again but jay on purpose i'm sure "So whatcha talking about?" he asked and i rolled my eyes and evie walked out the room with mal

"Hey, I found the wand. Let's go." she said heading off watching her mirror and we all followed entering a room "Here it is."

we all looked in awe as jay ducked under the bar to reach for it "Jay, don't! Wait, no!" she ignored her warnings and once he touched it he was blasted back by a barrier making an alarm blast threw the building

we all groaned covering our ears "Jay! You idiot!" i said as we looked at the blaring want "A force field and a siren?" carlos questioned "That's just a little excessive." jay said standing up "Let's go!" mal yelled and we all rushed out the room and down the stairs passing where the security was suppose to be

once we reached the doors i realized we didn't have carlos again so i turned back "Carlos, dude." i said and he scoffed "Your welcome." he said putting the phone down jogging over and i grabbed his hand pulling him out the museum to catch up with everyone

"Way to go, Jay. Now we have to go to school tomorrow."
