The Date

it was the next day which meant if was the day for mine and carlos's date and i was a nervous wreck to say the least and i never get nervous

while walking around school my name was yelled multiple times "Jayla! Jayla! Jayla! Jayla!" i turned seeing a running mal "What! What! What! What!" i mimicked as she stopped in front of me

"Ben just asked me out." she said freaking out and i smiled "No way we're having our first dates on the same day." i said and she gasped grabbing my arms

"Wait, what hold on. Carlos finally asked you out?" she asked and i nodded before raising a brow "Ya- wait you knew he was gonna ask me?" i asked and she shook her head "No but I had a feeling. I knew you to liked each other when did he ask you?"

"After our class with fairy godmother he asked me that's why i was super smiley when i came in our room." i told her making her smile then she gasped with realization "Oh- wait we need to find evie. She's good with this stuff." she said and i agreed and we went to find her

we walked around the school looking for evie which took forever until we seen her at the picnic tables with one of the dwarf sons I don't remember with one "There you are! We have been looking for you literally everywhere!" we exclaimed at the same time and both of them looked at us

"What's wrong?" she asked "Ben just asked me out on...a date." mal whispered "And I have a date with Carlos." i said smiling

"We can handle this. Bye." she said getting up from the tables "Bye."

she wrapped her arms around mal's and i as we walked back to the dorms "You're both looking a little pale." she said firstly "Yeah, of course." mal nodded "Well, Mal's just white." i said making her scoff and we went to our room

"Ok JJ i have the perfect outfit waiting for you in the bathroom." evie told me after she finished my makeup "Ok thank you." i smiled

i went to the bathroom seeing it on the hanger and it was so cute ( outside at the top ) and after i changed i let my hair down and walked out the bathroom "Moving on. Ah JJ you look so cute!" evie told me and i smiled "Thanks E."

"Are we done?" mal asked and evie nodded grabbing both our hands pulling us to the body mirror "Oh." "Wow" mal and i said speechless

"I know." evie nodded proudly "We look..." we trailed off "Say it." "Not hideous."

"Not even close." evie told us and there was a knock at the door and mal opened it as ben stood there looking at her in awe

"For the first time, I understand the difference between pretty and beautiful." he told her making evie and i smile at them "I hope you like bikes." he said holding up two helmets

A couple minutes later after they left there was another knock and I smiled at evie and went to open the door to see a very cute Carlos "Hey." i smiled and he just starred with a smile

"Hey you look just ..... wow. You look beautiful." he told me and i blushed "Thank you" evie and i said and carlos and i turned to her

"What? I did do her makeup and put together her outfit I should get some recognition." she told us and i shook my head "Bye evie." i said and carlos took my hand and we started walking

carlos and i walked threw the woods just talking until we stopped "Ok close your eyes." he told me as i did so "Why?" "Just trust me." he said and i nodded

"Ok ready?" he asked after we walked more and i nodded as he removed his hands from my face and i smiled at what i saw

there was a cute picnic set up with twinkle lights and a blanket for us to sit and he pulled me to sit

The whole time we just talking eating laughing and talking about funny memories we have of each other then when we were on the isle

after another hour or two we went back to the dorms and he dropped me off with a kiss on my cheek and i walked in blushing "Hey guys."

"Hey how was the date?" evie asked and i fell backwards on my bed "Oh it was good." i said and they smiled at me and mal and i talked about our dates
