Aurhor's POV
After Kate's death jungkook tries to make himself normal for the sake of Eunhee and daddu, y/n start coming to his house regularly but after his departure from the house for office , she doesn't has that much guts to face jungkook after the funeral Ceremony drama but sometimes they accidentally face each other but jungkook doesn't say a single word because she is the one who is taking care of Eunhee now, In the night Eunhee always cried and that makes jungkook worried more about her situation but in the day she plays with y/n and smiles a lot.

Jungkook's POV
I was busy with my files and Sana was standing besides the window of my office talking to her friend. she excused herself to receive the call because her friend just came to Seoul after a month and her birthday was coming too so she want to talk to her
Suddenly my phone also rang and without looking at caller ID I picked up
" yes"
" Sir , D-daddu " lara cried out
" lara what happened " I almost shout getting up from my chair
" we admitted him to......the hospital " she said between her cries
"What , but why , okay okay I am coming " I don't have time to ask these questions right now so i hang up and quickly running outside of my office , Sana also run behind me and we both reach the hospital together, when we went to hospital lara was not there so I have to ask y/n who was sitting on the chair outside the room while putting her face in her palms and resting her elbows on her knees
" How is daddu now "
she looked upward to face me , her red eyes were saying that she cried alot and in her cry she said that daddu was fainted already on the floor when she went to him to give medicine
We all rested there and after sometime doctor come out
" what has happened to him " I asked getting worried
Doctor sigh and stated " he is suffering from a lot of stress and he is getting weak so that's why he fainted earlier , we examined him but you have to take care of him more "
I felt that I am responsible for daddu's condition , I was too selfish that I only thought about my condition and forget about his health condition. I only show my emotions and never tried to find out how must he be suffered from Kate's death too, my heart become heavy and I made my self seated on the chair opposite to y/n , Sana patted on my shoulder sitting besides me and I closed my eyes releasing a heavy sigh.
At home
" why were you not taking your food regularly " I asked him in an angry tone
" I was taking..." I cut off his sentence and spat " No you were not, lara told me everything that you made some excuses daily to avoid food "
Daddu didn't say anything he closed his eyes with a sigh and opened it after hearing a cute voice
" Daddu where were you i missed you " Eunhee said running towards him and hug him
" i missed you too my child " he said kissing her forehead
I was looking at my two family who were hugging each other now but someone halted at the room's door and that was y/n she has not come inside and may be it is because of me.

Aurhor's POV
It's been a week after daddu coming back from hospital and y/n has taken all the responsibilities of daddu and Eunhee alone. she regularly made daddu's favourite soup for him which she come to know from her unnie when they talk about everybody in the house including jungkook too but only Kate talked about him not y/n, Daddu was looking at y/n who was playing with Eunhee in the garden after being tired from the playing she seated beside daddu with a smile on the bench which was in the garden.
" y/n I wanna ask you something " daddu suddenly asked
" yes, daddu" y/n diverted herself from eunhee who was still playing but with lara now
Daddu looks at eunhee who was making her doll house with lara , he sighed and asked " Do you love Eunhee like Kate did "
y/n happy smile turned into a sad one at the mention of Kate and her eyes become a little teary , she looks at eunhee and said " yes daddu, Eunhee is the only person I have who remind me of my unnie every moment I see her "
"Then will you marry jungkook " daddu asked with a little hesitation
y/n has taken aback by daddu's question, after a moment she came to her sense but still not getting what to reply him because daddu was looking at her with pleading eyes almost
" Daddu, I don't think I can do this " y/n replied getting uncomfortable
Daddu realized her uncomfort and said " there is nothing to get uncomfortable y/n, i asked you this because I thought you will be a best choice to be mother of Eunhee when I see Eunhee with you she always smile and she feels more comfortable around you......I want you to be her mother because I want to give her a mother again......not a stepmother *sigh* you can tell me your answer when will you feel comfortable otherwise I shall not force you "
Daddu patted on y/n's head and went back into the house , Daddu's words were revolving in her mind , she was in her thought until a sudden cry made her flinch. She run towards eunhee and kneel down in front of her
" what happened Eun " she asked with a worried tone while scanning Eunhee's body and her eyes stop on her knees before Eunhee could say anything
" oh God " she winced seeing Eunhee's knee injury
Lara came with a first add box and y/n treated her wound which she got after stucking on one of the object of her doll house and end up falling on the ground, Eunhee stop crying and start smiling
"What happened, why are you smiling " y/n asked in confusion
" you are behaving like mama " she said with smile but tears start forming in her eyes
" come here " after seeing the tears , y/n drag Eunhee in a comforting hug, now Eunhee start sobbing in her arms and y/n's eyes also filled with tears but she wiped away
" stop crying now, if you cry then how will your wound heal " she broke the hug and said this while wiping Eunhee's tears
" but I am missing mama , she also used to take care of me like you did just now " Eunhee said in her cries
" Don't worry, I am here , I shall take care of you " y/n assure Eunhee.
Eunhee suddenly hug y/n and a smile formed on y/n's face still with a little teary eyes

Next day
" Daddu " y/n called him standing at the door of his room waiting for him to indicate her to come inside
Daddu put his book with spectacles on the standing table beside his bed while gesturing her to come inside. y/n slowly come inside and took a sit at the edge of the bed with a little hesitation and nervousness. she took a long breathe and said " Daddu i am ready.....ready to marry jungkook..., but " she halted
" but what y/n " daddu asked
" but , Will jungkook be ready " y/n said looking at daddu with worry to get an answer
Daddu sighed and replied " you don't worry I will ask him and he should be ready because it's for Eunhee "
Daddu assured y/n and she just nodded.
