My secret office romance [Kim Taehyung FF]

Chapter 2- Supported his lie

"It's.... Secretary Y/n" He blurted out making me spit my drink out as everyone looked at me with wide eyes

"I-" I couldn't complete my sentence when Taehyung wrapped one of his arms around my waist pulling me closer to him as he gave my waist a light squeeze and whispered

"Just play along for a few minutes, please.." I nodded at his statement and tried to look as normal as possible 

"WHAT!?" All of them exclaimed 

"Yes, she is my girlfriend. You all got a problem with that?" He asked with a straight face as everyone shook their heads in a 'no'

"Why didn't you tell us?" Mr. Kim Namjoon asked 

"We decided to tell you, but before that all of this happened" Taehyung replied. Damn, this guy can come up with good excuses!

"OMG! I'm so happy! My daughter-in-law is perfect" Mrs. Kim said hugging me while everyone else congratulated Taehyung. Daughter-in-law!?!? I don't even know when we started dating and I became a daughter-in-law already?! 

"Mom and dad, we should go. Secretary Y/n must be feeling tired" Taehyung said as I let out a sigh of calmness

"Yes, you should get going. Take care of my daughter, hmm?" Mrs. Kim said caressing my cheeks as I gave a forced smile while Taehyung just nodded and started to walk away

"Don't get her pregnant!" We heard Mr. Kim Seokjin yell as I stumbled and fell down listening to the sentence

"Secretary Y/n, are you okay!?" Mr. Kim asked with concern while helping me to stand up

"Yeah, let's just get out of here, please" I said

"Yeah, I'm sorry for all of this..." He said helping me get to his car

The entire car ride was silent. Neither did I or Mr. Kim decided to speak. He kept driving the car while I looked outside to avoid any kind of interaction but I should clear all things. Why did he do something like that without my concern? He halted the car before my place

"Mr. Kim, I think we should-" Before I could complete the sentence, he interrupted me by saying

"Secretary Y/n, let's talk about this tomorrow. I'm a little tired" I knew he was lying, but if that's what he wants, I won't force him

"Yes, sir I understand. Good night, Mr. Kim" I said bowing before leaving the car

"Good night, Secretary Y/n" He said before driving off.  Yes, he lives separately 

[Time skip: Next morning; Taehyung's cabin]

"Mr. Kim, here is your hot chocolate and the file you asked for" I said placing the two items on his desk while he was busy on his laptop

"Anything else?" 

"Mr. Kim, I think we should have a talk-"

"Yes, bring me the files related to second meeting with the board members please" He again interrupted me

"You can't avoid my questions forever, Mr. Kim" I finally said making him look at me

"It's not my concern why you said that at last night's party, but the thing I didn't like is, you using me just for avoiding your marriage moreover, lying to everyone" I spoke looking down

"But that doesn't mean right I'll get married to any random girl?" He replied

"But that also doesn't give you the permission to use my name wherever you want without my concern" I replied

"Secretary Y/n, I'm sorry for doing that without your permission, but can we keep up this act just for a few days? Until everything is back to normal?" He asked

"Just for a few days. Later, I'll tell them that our relationship wasn't working and we broke up. Just for a few days please?" he asked and I wanted to deny his offer but his doe eyes made me rethink my decision. Just for a few days right? It's not like we are getting married or something.

"Fine, I will but... Mr. Kim, please don't take this act to such an extent that nothing can be fixed back and return just the way it was" I said as he nodded. 

"Mr. Kim, I have another request" I said drawing his attention

"Yes, go ahead" He replied

"Please don't let anyone find about this in the office. I hope you understand" I said

"Yeah, sure. You can leave now" He said as I bowed and walked up to my desk

[Time skip: Few hours later]

Finally! I completed the weekly stats! Stretching my hands in the air, I closed my eyes when my hands hit something

"OMG! I'm so sorry... Jungkook?" I asked looking at the male behind me

"Ouch! That hurts!" He exclaimed rubbing his nose

"I'm sorry, what are you doing here?" I asked

"Here, details about the meeting related to board members, pass it on to Mr. Kim" He said handing over the files

"Okay, I will. Thank you" I said bowing

"Are you free today? We all are deciding to go for some drinks" Jungkook asked

"Count me in" I replied

"Sure, I- Good morning, Mr. Kim" Jungkook bowed looking behind me as I turned around to find his tall figure towering over me making my eyes go wide as I immediately bowed

"Mr. Kim, if all your work are done, can I leave early today?" I asked

"I'm afraid that won't happen. After everyone leaves, I'll need you for some works" He replied as I sighed

"Sure sir" I replied while he walked away

"Jungkook, maybe next time?" I said as he nodded before walking away

"FIGHTING!" Jungkook yelled

"FIGHTING!" I yelled back

[Time skip: 10pm, Taehyung's cabin]

It's been 2 hours since everyone left and I've been working with Mr. Kim in his cabin. Finally finishing my work, I stood up and walked up to his table 

"Mr. Kim, here are the files you asked for" I said placing the files and everything on his table

"Good, can you pass me the files on the coffee table?" He asked as I nodded and walked up to the coffee table and picked up the file 

"Here are the files you asked for" I said handing them over

"Good" He mumbled while going through the files

"Mr. Kim, If the work is done, can I leave?" I asked hoping he would allow

"Yeah sure" He replied as I mentally screamed 

Turning around, I was about to leave when someone caught my wrist. Looking behind I found Mr. Kim holding onto my wrist softly before saying,

"You looked.... beautiful today"
