Chapter 11- My erased past

Flashback, 4 years back, [Boston; University of Business Management]:

Author's POV:

"Min-Young, you sure she'll come?" Taehyung asked

"Don't you trust your bestie huh? I talked to Y/n, she said she will come" Min-Young replied

"Why are both of you sisters always late?"

"Yah! You want me to call her and tell her not to come?" Min-Young asked

"What!? No!"

"Then keep quiet and wait. She'll be here soon" Min-Young replied and got busy in her phone while Taehyung anxiously kept tapping his foot, waiting for someone special to arrive. His wait finally came to an end when his eyes landed upon a familiar, happy and cheerful as always

"Min-Young! Taehyung!" Y/n waved at both of them. Min-Young waved back but Taehyung was too busy admiring her that he didn't even realize when she was standing right next to him. Seeing the lover boy drool over her sister, Min-Young slightly elbowed him bringing him back to reality earning a giggle from Y/n

"Good morning Y/n.... Good morning Taehyung" She wished with a smile to which they both gladly greeted back. That's something Taehyung always loved about her, her cheerful nature

"Let's go, we are getting late" Min-Young said waking towards the building letting two of them spend time alone

"How is your day going Y/n?" Taehyung

"It's going great so far. How about you?" 

"It's good" He replied as she just nodded. They kept walking until a crowd in the middle of hall made them stop in their tracks. It was nothing new. Just Han Sung-hee and her stupid group of girls bullying people and humiliating them 

"Yah! Han Sung-hee!" Y/n yelled making everyone flinch 

"Look who's here, Park Y/n. What are you going to do this time huh?" She asked smirking 

"Wish you had said that before realizing we already recorded a video" Y/n replied as she gasped

"That's not-t possible. This area doesn't have CCTV!" She replied

"Which generation are you living in? Ever heard of smartphone?" Y/n said as the students started laughing. Y/n winked at Min-Young and Taehyung who gave a thumbs up in return 

"It'll be fun watching you get expelled from here" She said before turning around a walking back towards classes

"Park Y/n! I'll kill you!" Han Sung-hee yelled 

"It'll be fun to see you try" Y/n replied. Back then, she didn't have any idea how this two sentences can change her life forever 

[Time skip: Lunch time]

"Isn't Min-Young coming?" Y/n asked sitting down next to Taehyung during the lunchtime

"No, she has an appointment with Ms. Claire" Taehyung replied busy in his book

"That's not an appointment, it's more like being threatened to meet her" Y/n replied earning a chuckle from Taehyung 

"So, what are you going to do after graduating?" Taehyung asked

"I'll go back to Korea with Min-Young and look for a job. What about you?" 

"I'll join my dad's company" Taehyung replied

"Then make me your secretary" Y/n said

"Gladly" Taehyung replied as both of them started laughing but Y/n had no idea how much his heart fluttered every time both of them were together. 

[Time skip: After classes]

"My precious sister!" Y/n said hugging Min-Young like a koala

"Yah! Tell me what you want" She asked

"You're no fun! Anyways, let's go hang out! You, me and Taehyung!" Y/n said clinging onto both of theirs hands

"Let's go" Taehyung said as we walked down to the bus stop. It was quiet crowded as usual but somehow they managed to reach the front. Min-Young was busy in her phone when Taehyung said,

"Y/n"

"Hmm?"

"This may seem a bit weird but... I kind of like you... no I love you.... I-" Taehyung was interrupted when Y/n placed her finger on his lips indicating him to stop talking. Passing him a smile, Y/n replied

"I'll give you my answer later" Taehyung smiled at her response because usually if someone proposed her, she would reject them not in a harsh but understanding way saying she had someone in her heart. This was the first time, she didn't say any of those which kind of gave Taehyung hopes. 

"Y/n..." Y/n heard someone call her name behind her and turning around she found Sung-hee

"Ah, you scared me. What do you want?" Y/n asked quiet annoyed

"You expelled me from here. I'll not let you live" Sung-hee said

"Sung-hee, stop it. Let her go" Taehyung said 

"Why are you supporting her Taehyung? Don't you love me?" Sung-hee asked trying to touch him but he yanked her hands away

"Don't you dare touch me! I love Y/n not someone psycho like you" Taehyung said before joining Y/n who was walking by the side of road leaving behind Sung-hee burning in jealousy seeing the both of them enjoying love

Han Sung-hee was burning in jealousy that she decided to do something which was going to destroy the lives of three people. Without thinking twice, she pushed Y/n on the busy street as everyone was shocked to see this happen. 

"Y/n!" Taehyung yelled as everyone saw a car heading towards her. Unable to process what to do, Y/n closed her eyes until she felt someone hugging her. Opening her, she found her sister hugging her

"Everything will be fine" Was the last thing Min-Young said before both of them were hit by the car. Taehyung stumbled fell on his knees watching the scene unfold. Tears filled up his eyes, he pushed Sung-hee away from him and rushed towards both of them lying on the street covered in blood

Min-Young died on the spot as the doctors declared her dead, fortunately Y/n survived. Without wasting time, Taehyung called an ambulance and took her to the hospital. 

"I lost my best friend, I can't lose someone I love" Taehyung said hugging his knees while the doctors were operating Y/n. The operation was a success but Taehyung's heart was yet to be broken when the Y/n said,

"Who are you?"

"Y/n... I'm Taehyung-g... You don't know me?" Taehyung asked but she shook her head in a 'no'

"Mr. Kim, she was hit by a car and I suppose she has memory loss"

"What!? So-o she won't remember anything!?" Taehyung asked while crying

"She'll remember her childhood but I'm afraid she won't remember what happened in past 2 or 3 years. I would suggest you not to force her in remembering anything cause, it'll only result into making her condition worse" The doctor said as Taehyung's heart broke into millions of pieces

After her condition was better, Jimin and her dad took her dad back to Korea but no one ever worried about Taehyung's condition. How much he was hurt every time he visited the hospital seeing Y/n but not being able to talk to her. How much he felt lonely without them. How much he missed both of them

"That means, you were with me just because you were guilty of what happened....?"
