Chapter 9 Teaching a lesson

Third person's pov

"No! Stop it, just stop! I said stop, leave me"

Meera shouted desperately to Elijah who was tying her hands on either hands of the chair in his study room by a satin rope. She clawed, scratched, screamed to stop him but all in vain. He ignored her protests. After being done, he stepped back to look at her bounded. Smirking arrogantly at her and he said,

"Now let's begin your punishment"

"Untie me"

She said through gritted teeth. He bent down holding the hands of the chair and looked her right in the eyes and said commandingly,

"Just take it sincerely and learn to never repeat your mistakes"

" I did nothing wrong. An egoistic jerk like you doesn't deserve my respect instead you deserve all the filth on my sandal when I will hit you with it on that dirty mouth of yours! "

Meera yelled on his face with all the anger boiling in her blood since the moment she met him. She cursed the fate to even see him in her life. Elijah closed the distance between their faces until their nose touched looking dangerously in her glaring eyes. He said in a low voice expressing how much effort he was putting to keep the anger at bay. His voice sent shivers down her spine but the anger refused to leave the veins hence she didn't back down.

"Have you ever seen a lamb win against a lion? "

"What nonsense are you--"

"I wasn't finished. Don't interject me when I am speaking"

he cut off threateningly making her insides churn in fear but still she refused to give in to him. Mustering her courage she told him having enough of his actions, words and he himself,

"I will. You know why? Cause I don't care! You can suck up all your rules and regulations"

His eyes darkens visibly with hold tightening on the chair's hands. His stare hardens making the hairs on her skin stand, tremors washing over the body. She tried to mask her fear by smirking at him but it disappears when his lips curl up in an evil smile which resembled of an satan. She gulps nervously trying to avoid the fear that was clawing her heart. He looks sinister she wondered fearfully. And when his voice resonated in the ears had her shaking from inside, the malice was as sharp as a high pitch note,

"Little doe, how poor! You really test me, don't you? Oh! I would love to taste the filth your sandals have if you defeat me in my game which will never happen. And to remind you just minutes ago these dirty lips were on yours kissing the living day light out of you"

She opened her mouth to give him a nasty reply when his voice thunders in the room making her jump and her heart leapt to the throat.

"Not a single word unless I permit"

He scared her to the bones. She was trembling seeing his deathly glare. With a maddening look in his eyes which promised her doom, she couldn't help but gulp. Realising that she crossed his patience as never once has he raised his voice on her, she pulls the binds in futile attempt to release herself and to escape from him. Her breath hitches in the throat when he suddenly pulled her head back by fisting the midnight black hairs and glared sharply. She yelped in surprise, although his grip was tight it didn't hurt her thankfully.

"I tolerated and went easy every time you disrespected me. But not anymore. I will show you why everyone fears me"

he says in the calmest way possible as if gripping her hairs and threatening was normal. She was terrified would be an understatement. Sure, he had threatened her before but it was nothing like right at the moment, it held promise. A frightening promise.
