"Saiki!" Two voices yelled in unison when they entered the Cafe. Saiki frowned sipping on his milkshake.

"What do you two idiots want. Why did you call me over on a Tuesday evening?" Saiki huffed wondering why exactly he even came over. When Y/n got mad at him earlier at school it ruined Saiki's day. Getting yelled at by the quiet kid is not something you want to feel good about. Especially if it was someone normal like Y/n.

"You will never guess what we discovered! There's something unnatural happening to a girl at our school!" Torisuka yelled while the blonde-haired psychic nodded excitedly

"Usually I don't like paying attention to crap like this but Torisuka is on to something!" Mikoto yelled holding up the crystal ball towards Saiki. The cafe of people turned to the group of teenagers curiously wondering what all the racket was about

"First of all get that dirty ball away from my face, second of all quiet down we're in a public area. Show some respect." Saiki scolded the two loud psychics who nodded and quietly sat at the booth on the other side of Saiki. The pink-haired boy glanced down at the crystal ball curiously. His heart jumped when seeing who was reflected off the ball

"Are you serious? I've told you time and time again to not bother this girl. Torisuka." Saiki spoke sternly glaring up at the purple-haired medium who huffed

"You barely even told me. You only told me telepathically so I've elected to ignore you. I'm trying to tell you. She's something special." Torisuka spoke. Saiki looked away in denial standing up from his seat and placing his yen down on the table

"No. She is a normal girl. She is completely ordinary. Whatever weird fixation you have with her. Cut it out. Don't ruin this for me." Saiki spoke feeling his thoughts waver at the last sentence. The two watched hopelessly as the teen walked out of the cafe

"What do we do now?" Mikoto asked watching the purple-haired medium's lips curve down into a frown

"Maybe Saiki is right. I should just leave Y/n be. She looked really confused and a little scared when I told her. I can't do that to a girl." Torisuka spoke watching the psychic disappear from his view

"I need to speak with you," Saiki spoke up to the girl the next day at school. She stared up at the teen who stood beside her desk. Y/n nodded and flipped her English homework over before following the boy outside the classroom. The two continued down the hall in silence until reaching a less crowded area.
The boy had already rehearsed what he wanted to say in his head. He wasn't used to this stuff. He didn't like apologizing all that much since it made him feel vulnerable. But this was one friendship he did not want to lose. And all because he did something stupid.

"Saiki. I'm sorry." Y/n spoke out. The psychic stared over at Y/n a little shocked

"That'll work too I guess." Saiki thought then nodded

"I wanted to apologize as well. I should take a more different approach when telling Teruhashi im not interested." Saiki admitted to the girl who smiled a little bit happy that Saiki took accountability for his actions. Y/n shook her head

"It's fine. I just didn't want things to be awkward between us." Y/n smiled watching Saiki nod in agreement

"I know Im right, Torisuka. She's completely normal. People all over have different guardian spirits. Just because you saw one that wasn't as common it doesn't mean the person isn't normal." Saiki thought watching the girl's relieved expression. The two finally parted ways back to their classroom.
