"THE HUMANS ARE MORE MONSTERS THAN US. Humans have grown heartless. They feel threatened by the unusual and different, so they will do anything in them to kill it. They are not different than us." Aro begins. They all sat and gathered at the big wooden center table.

A sound of agreement began to erupt. They all believe that humans have grown vicious throughout the centuries, well, except for Eden and Carlisle, maybe even Caius.

Carlisle purses his lips. He was the one who began the conversation about humans in hopes of changing their perspective of killing humans mercilessly.

He had planned to leave for a long time but couldn't seem to do it. He promised Eden he would stay, but with the Volturi's merciless and bloodthirsty lifestyle, he could not do it.

It all went against his beliefs.

So he stood up from his seat and walked away from the throne room. With Eden following behind him, he entered his chambers and began to pack his belongings.

Eden looks at him worriedly. "Carlisle?"

"My apologies, Eden. I could not stay any longer." Carlisle tells her, and Eden purses her lips, standing still.

Carlisle turns around and looks at her with a gentle smile.

"Would you like to join me? To the New World?"

Eden smiles at him happily. "I would love to."

Without Eden and Carlisle knowing that they would have a family and meeting their beloveds in the process.

All was well.

All was well
