And thus began Sivaangi' s cyber- friendship with him, even when she knew she didn't even know his name, she was confident she knew the person behind the screen.

They made it a habit of texting each other more frequently, from texting a few times a week to pretty much once a day. She realized that he was in some sort of high pressure work environment that required him to pull long hours. But even with long hours and her not mentioning about it since the day he had asked about her starting a new job, she received his text as she was getting ready for her first day of work.

And true to his words, he learnt all about her first day at work that night.

In the following month she learnt he had no siblings and his mother brought him up by herself being a single mom. She learnt he was extremely smart as a student all through school and college. She had shared about her family, her parents and her older brother, about her close friends, about her work.

And when her probationary period completed a month after she she had started, she received an e-gift card from him in her text inbox.
