♠️ 1.8 - a whole year later ♠️

So much had had happened for Harvey and Lake over the course of 2020 into 2021.

And because the author is really fucking lazy and low key running out of ideas, the thing that grew the most for them was the growth of not only their relationship but their own separate fan bases as well. It was starting to get harder to hide the fact they were together and Harvey knew from the amount of times Tommy had begged him to tag along on vlogs and how often he'd impulsively joke about the two it was only a matter of time before someone else found out.

It was a pretty normal night with Harvey playing on the origins smp (he persuaded Lake to let him on) from his own bedroom. Currently only him, Phil, Tubbo, and Ranboo were on.

None of them were streaming but they all logged on to build their separate bases or do something else for a couple of upcoming streams. It was relatively quiet aside from the occasional vocal noise or mumble from the vc all four were sitting in to keep each other company. They were all on the same page in tiredness.

"Harvey? Do you have a significant other?" The question was innocent enough and Harvey couldn't blame Tubbo for asking. Phil had been talking about his wife and that led to the teenager's tiredly complaining about it.

"Uh...yeah I have a boyfriend. He's lovely."

"Will I ever get to meet him?"

"You have, tubs"

Harvey freezes in his motions of strip mining for a moment, realization hitting him as he resists the urge to slam his face into the keyboard or desk in front of him.

"Uhhh, have I?"

Phil's voice startled him and he has to place a hand on his heart briefly to feel some amount of control over its fast pulsing.

"He's gonna kill me for this... none of you can say anything about this but uhm Lake and I have been dating for quite a while..Tommy knew first."

"WHAT?"

Harvey winced and jumped slightly when his phone screen lit up with a text from Lake. He was letting him know he was starting a movie in the front room.

"Yeah, sorry. Uhm I'm gonna head off now guys. Lake doesn't know I told y'all so like..don't say anything."

"We won't, I'm really happy for you two. Bye Harvey!" Phil's support sent a warm wave through Harvey and it suddenly reminded him of the lack of it he had from his own parents.

The echoed response from the two teenagers kept the smile on his face as he disconnected and shut off his computer before heading to the front room.

"Hey, music man" Lake snorted at the nickname and barely scooted over to make room.

Harvey smiled and cuddled up into his side, eyes glued to the screen for a moment before he glared playfully and poked at Lake's side.

"You chose this movie on purpose. You just want me to cry don't you?!"

"I swear I would never"

"Mhmm sure. I know your schemes mr indigo"

Harvey couldn't stop the small laugh from escaping as Lake pouted. He shook his head while pressing a soft kiss to the corners of Lake's lip before standing up and heading into the kitchen to grab a drink.
