𝗔𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗹 𝟳 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟮

8 WEEKS PREGNANT

Vera was currently at her 8-week ultrasound and honestly is so excited but nervous since Harry isn't here with her. Since he had to go to London again for a photoshoot for homes and gardens magazine. Vera is honestly afraid that he'll miss out on this whole pregnancy, miss every kick, miss every bump update, and miss the birth of his child. But she can't complain since she knew it was gonna be like this just that a baby wasn't in the plan.

Vera knew that Harry was going to be busy this year especially with promoting the new album and the new tour he hasn't released to the public that will start in June. She is honestly glad that her belly isn't that noticeable since it's barely a bump at the moment. Even though she should be wearing an oversized sweater so that nobody finds out, Vera doesn't care instead she's wearing a silky beige top that is bare in the back and some baggy jeans with some black sneakers.

"Ms. Semenov, Dr. Anderson is ready to see you," said a nurse from the front desk. Vera got up from her seat and walk up to the nurse, who assisted her to a room.

She walked into the white room and sat on the examination table as she patiently waited for Dr. Anderson to enter the room. a few minutes passed already and then Dr. Anderson walked inside the room with a clipboard at hand.

"So, how have you been, Ms. Semenov?" Said Dr. Anderson as she read through the information sheet on the clipboard.

"I've been fine just that I've been feeling more tired lately and been having morning sickness recently," said Vera

"So today, we'll be able to hear the heartbeat of your little joy," said Dr. Anderson as she was setting up the ultrasound machine

"Wait seriously?" Said Vera with a smile but it soon faded away when she realized that Harry isn't here to witness this joyous moment with her

"If you want we can wait for a different day if you like," said Dr. Anderson with the clipboard to her chest

Vera couldn't settle if she should or shouldn't hear the heartbeat of our little bean now or when Harry come back from London. Selfishness was slipping through her but decided to fight against it and to wait for Harry to hear their baby's heartbeat together. Instead, we just did regular check-ups on how the baby is doing and left with ultrasound pictures instead.
