She said yes and I can't believe what I heard.
" Wait say that again."
" Yes. " She says again and smiles at me.
Ladies and gentlemen I'm the happiest man alive now. I get up and hold her by her waist and spin her in the air.
I put her down and engulf her in a tight hug.
" God I love you so so much." I tell her again.
" I love you too. " She tells me and I freeze.
I break the hug and look at her.
" You do ? "
" Yes." She says.
" Say it again. " I request her.
" I love you. " She blushes.
" Again." My eyes are starting to get teary and I don't care. I can't believe it. I never thought this would turn out so well and that she would love me back.
" I love you ! "
I laugh out of joy as I engulf her in another tight hug.
" But when did you fall for me. I mean...." She cutts me in between.
" I don't know myself. I just did. Like you know you were always there to comfort me and help me and you did certain things just for me even though it's unlike you. And then when you weren't replying or texting for a week.... I got really worried plus yesterday when you suddenly came. It felt good as if I had someone I could rely on."
She takes a pause.
"So yesterday when you had gone to bring your car Enid played a little game with me asking me to choose between random things. And like whatever I answered first was my most favorable or loved one. When she suddenly took your name with another guy I instantly took your name and that's when I knew that I started loving you. Although I wasn't planning to tell you because I was nervous. "
" Thank you ! Thank you so much princess. You have no idea how happy you've made me. " I've never felt this happy before. I take out the little Swarovski box from my pocket.
" Love could you turn around ? I've got you a present. "
I put on the swan shaped necklace for her. She looks at it.
" Ezekiel I can't..." I keep a finger on her lips to shush her.
" Please never take it off. Promise me you would never. It'll keep us connected plus it's my first ever gift to you. " I plead.
" Ok " she smiles.
" Ummm would like some dessert now ?" I ask scratching the back of my head. She nods. The waiter brings a bowl of ice-cream and a spoon. She loves it. I take a spoon and bring it near her lips.
" I'll feed you. " She gladly eats it.
" Won't you eat ?" She asks.
" I'm not the biggest fan of ice-cream. "
" Please just a few bites. " She requests.
" Only if you feed me. " I smirk
" Ok " she says giving me the -_- face. She feeds me and I enjoy it. I can't describe how I feel right now. I feel loved. We take turns feeding each other.
For the first time I actually enjoyed ice-cream. And I will always if my girlfriend feeds me. God it feels so good to call her my girlfriend. I swear I'll always protect her and her smile even if it costs my own life. And anyways my life is worthless without her.
" You already know enough about me. Now I'm gonna ask you and you'll answer. " She says.
" Ok love. "
" Ummm...." Ummm is her favourite word I guess. " So any comfort movie ?"
" None."
" None ? Ok then favourite hobby?"
" Reading. "
" Favourite food."
" Easy, any meat." She nods approvingly.
" Favourite colour"
" The colour of your eyes. " I say looking at her eyes. I love closer to her and she instantly holds her breath because of our closeness.
" And I really want to kiss you. " I say staring at her lips. She looks at me I can slightly hear her heartbeats.
" Can I kiss you ? " I request.
She nods.
Could I get anymore lucky ?
I cupped her face as I slowly lean in and capture her lips with mine. Her lips are so soft. I move my lips against hers and it feels heavenly. She slowly starts to feel comfortable as kisses back and wraps her hands around my neck, gently tugging my hair. I growl at the feeling. I increase my pace. I leave her face as my one hand tightens around her waist and another on her back pulling her harder against my chest and closing any gap. She tasted like strawberries. Fresh and sweet that made my head swim. Why does she have to be so perfect ?
This was definitely my top addiction now. I've been longing for this moment since the day I saw her. " Your mine." I say against her lips not wanting to ever let go. I notice her heavy breathing and slowly pull out. Our foreheads rest against each other.
" Please don't ever leave me Aria. " I tell her breathlessly, my tone full with need. The need of always having her by my side.
" I won't. " She whispers. I finally look up at her but she instantly looked down.
She's shy like always. I laugh.
" You don't have to be shy infront of me love. Not anymore. " I wink at her.
She playfully hits my chest. " Your so mean. " She pouts. I swear I could kiss it all my life.
" Ok ok I'm sorry but please don't be mad at me. Btw are you free this week ? "
" Kind of. Why ? "
" I was thinking if we could go on a trip or something. "
" No no not this month. It won't be possible at all. "
" Whyyyy ????" I nag.
" Cause the term has just started and you know that the first month is very important. We can definitely go sometime else or during the holidays. " Sh e suggests.
" Holidays ?? I'll have to wait that long. "
" It's not too long. It's not like you won't be seeing me at all. Idiot you are. "
" Sorry....but I can't help it. I just can't stay away from you at all. " I pout.
She laughs this time.
" Anyways Ezekiel don't you think it's getting late. I have classes tom again. Can you please drop me home ?"
" God I hate this university !" I whine.
" Pleasee. I'll stay longer next time I promise. "
" Ok let's go. "
I drive her back.
" Thank you so much. It was all wonderful. " She pecks my cheek.
" You don't have to thank me love. Everything thing I own is yours and you deserve the best. "
" Ok bye." She smiles but before she can get out I grab her close by her arm and give her a quick kiss. Can't I just kiss her forever ? She's flustered again.
" Bye love. " I smile teasingly at her.
She rushed out of the car and spares me a quick glance before getting in her house. I drive back home thinking about today, smiling to myself.
This was surely the best day of my existence.
