Alex's: POV
We finally made it to new York City after retrieving our luggage from the carousel. The hotel shuttle van was outside waiting for us to take us to the fifth seasons hotel
The driver got out and help get our suitcase in the trunk
Afterwards we got on to the Van, we made our way out the airport parking lot which was extremely full of vehicles. I looked on my phone to see how far the hotel was from the airport, according the directions on map quest. It was twenty minutes away, all I wanted to do was get to my room and take a shower wand down before we head over to our parents house for dinner. Stef did you speak to mom to see what time they wanted us over Alex asks, l believe she wants all of us there at six o'clock
She's sending charlie to pick up us up the fifth seasons Stef replies. Some things never change with them huh Alex States, nope even when we're adults you know how traditional mother is. Everything has to be her way or the highway, Stef says to her sister as she laughs. Lena's leaning against Stef's chest. Francesca was busy reading a book, while the women were talking she was kinda glad to be away from los Angeles for the weekend. Francesca knows she's being stubborn for not talking to her aunt Alex, but she's still in her feelings. Mommy are we gonna see grandmother and grandfather Francesca asked Lena

We made to go to Walmart to get SD cards Francesca

We pulled up to the hotel. The driver got out to let us out
He took our luggage from the trunk, and handed it to all of us. Mama tipped them a fifth dollar bill, l pulled my suitcase along as we entered inside building mommy went up to the counter to get us checked in. I sat down in the lobby next to mama who was texting someone on her phone, l didn't realize that I had one missed call from my bestie lilly. I texted her back to let her know we've arrived in new York, mommy came back with three key cards
She gave auntie Alex hers. Alex where are all on the tenth floor, your room number 1029 and ours is 1031
Alex thanked her sister in law and begin making her way towards the elevators, Alex was exhausted from not sleeping well lately. She wasn't trying to be ain't social towards her sister sister in law and niece, she's been working on a huge case involving a sixteen year teenager girl who gang rape by the football team in high school
Weighed heavy on her mind, Alex is looking forward in seeing her parents. Another issue that bothered her
Was her relationship with her niece Francesca who hasn't said anything to her all through the flight, Alex knows not to take it personal. Alex walked off the elevator and walks down the highway looking at the numbers on the doors
Until she came to hers Alex inserted the key card in the slot and green light came on, Alex pushed the door open and locked it up behind. She headed to the bedroom and unpack her suitcase and hanging her clothes up in the closet.
