As Long As I Have the Lord God
As long as I have the Lord God,
I know that I can remain strong;
All of the tests and tribulations
Further exhort me to tread with determination.
I must not give up,
Not when I am going through a lot;
For it is during these periods of trouble
That I should all the more remain humble.
Though I am far from perfect,
The Lord can help me to win it:
This race, that I may continue on,
With a desire to enter His Kingdom.
