Preparing You
There is never a need to worry
With the Lord by your side;
He will protect you wherever you may be;
If you seek refuge in Him at all times.
Even the seemingly strongest individuals that threaten
To do you harm will not be able to do so;
He will uphold you with His righteousness;
You will be shown the light when you feel alone.
And in your moments of trouble,
Though you are pained, you shall not crumble;
After crying it out to the Lord,
You stand back up, ready to face the world.
Every scar comes with living;
Though instead of seeing it as a misfortune,
Perceive your pain as blessings,
Preparing you for the day you reach God's Kingdom.
