Chapter 7: Bebehin

REGINA's POV

"No wonder Reggie cleaned her plate. Masarap ka pala talaga mag-luto Narda!"

She just finished eating while we're all sitting around the island table. Tingin ko mas okay dito na lang namin i-conduct pati presentation ni Narda.

"Naman Miss! Masarap ako! Eme~ haha maglutoooo!"

"Ayyyy you haaa! Hahaha"

Nag-apir pa silang dalwa at nagtawanan.

Two crazies. I rolled my eyes at their antics. Si Ella tinitingnan ako ng pang-asar.

"Hoy Reggie! Bakit bad mood na bad mood ka na naman ha? May naabala ba ko?"

"Geez Ella naririnig mo ba sarili mo? About me and my secretary? Order coffee ka na nga! Palate-late kasi."

Siniko nya ako and gave me a look.

"Ito na po madam! Kapeng kape eh. Narda ano gusto mo? Libre ko na din dessert!"

Inakbayan pa nya si Narda. Narda just shrugged, but her smile seem not to reach her eyes this time.

"Di po ko nagka-kape pero pag tutulog na po ako Miss."

Ano sya may adhd? Di na ko magtataka sa sobrang hyper nya.

She's a weirdo, I told myself shaking my head. Ella raised an eyebrow and I gave her a look daring her to say something. She just smiled at Narda in time when the latter looked up to her.

"Just call me Ella! Ito naman, friends tayo kaya stop calling me miss. Ano na lang, ano gusto mo dessert sweetie?"

Sweetie?

"Wag na lang po. Kasi late na lalo ako makakauwi eh byahe lang ako ngayon."

I frowned at that. "Di ka nagdala ng sasakyan?"

Napakamot sya sa noo. "Eh pupunta pa ko sa firm nyo boss. Tsaka may daanan din kasi ako na tropa, shot shot lang hahaha"

I glared at her. "Narda may pasok bukas."

"Di naman mabiro si Regina oh. Joke lang yun. Daan lang ako pramis." She smiled.

I don't like the sound of that pero bahala sya. It's almost nine of the evening.

"Fine! Discuss to Ella now yung presentation and I'll explain. Para matapos na to."

Pinapwesto ko si Ella sa gitna namin this time, and thankfully I was able to focus kaya nagkakasabay na kami ni Narda ng pagpapaliwanag. It took us a little over an hour polishing the presentation etc hanggang nasatisfied na kami ni Ella.

Pinauwi ko na din si Narda kasi mukhang atat naman sya. Naiinis rin lang naman ako sa kanya so I just told her to get home safe.

Ella suddenly slapped the back of my head right when I just sat down.

"What the hell Ella?" I exclaimed and she gave me a look.

"Bibig mo Reggie ah. Ikaw talaga apaka-bipolar mo minsan. Sakit mo pa naman magsalita. Ano ba kinapuputok ng butchi mo?" She asked standing in front of me and crossing her arms.

"Nothing!" I told her. "I'm just tired! Ikaw kasi tagal mo. I hate that!"

She doesn't look convinced though.

"Next time be careful with your words Reggie ah."

"What is it she has to be offended about Ella?" I asked in annoyance.

"She's just my secretary."

Ella rolled her eyes.

"Whatever. Kahapon proud being my secretary tapos deney na deney ngayon. Bahala ka nga dyan! Umayos ka bukas ah."
