Chapter 10 : 1M Lunch Date

REGINA's POV

"Naku patay."

I looked up from my phone to Ali. I just realized we are already in my firm.

"What?"

Ngumuso sya sa side, and when I saw what he's pointing at uminit na agad ulo ko.

Noah's motorcycle.

Bumaba na kami ni Ali just in time when Narda and Mara parked too then greets us. I can't help smiling nang makita na ulit ang signature smile ni Narda.

Her eye smile is back.

"Tara na boss! Lakad wonderwoman tayo papasok ah para strong haha! Pero syempers walang tatalo sa Attorney Regina Vanguardia walk!"

Yaya nya while taking my briefcase at ini-adjust bagpack nya. I raised an eyebrow at her.

"Really? Don't tell me you're checking me out De Leon? Kaya lagi ka natatameme pag nalapit ako?"

Ngumuso sya at napakamot sa noo. Mara and Ali giggled na nasa sides namin.

"Hindi no! Sinong natatame-"

I smirked at her at nag-lean towards her. Slightly lang naman. That seems to remind her the other day dahil napa-atras sya kay Mara.

"Ganito?" Ali asked.

He started strutting exaggeratedly, may pa-slide pa ng kamay pataas sa hips nya.

Narda laughed out loud along Mara kaya nainis ako. My face felt hot.

"Slaaaaay!" Narda and Mara nag-apir pa.

"I don't walk like that!"

Ali gave me a peace sign.

"Eh beshie pinoy tayo eh! Ano nalang yung paborito nyo ni Lola! Mars Ravelo's heroes dapat!"

"Oh sakto! Haha Narda, Darna!" Ali clapped pa.

"Naman eh! Pinaalala nyo pa yan!" Narda looks badtrip na haha

I laughed and for the first time she gave me a glare. Para lang syang angry puppy lol

I reached out at ginulo bangs nya.

"So weird pero yeah, is that why Narda? Lola Rosi's a fan?"

Mara answered instead kasi parang natigilan si Narda. There was an unreadable expression sa kanya I can't tell na.

"Ay chika Ma'am! Kilala nyo yung dating gumanap na Darna po? Yung super ganda na dating actress si Leonor Marte, asawa ng Chairman Danilo ng MC?"

I nodded kahit na-bother ako upon the mention of her.

"Ay oo namatay sya sa car crash di ba during ng eskandalo sa MC?" Ali asked.

"Tsk! Childhood crush ko yun! Kahit nung di na actress at kasal na naalala ko pupunta kaming fans nya pag may meet and greet sya. Sobrang down to earth kaya nga iyakan kami noong nawala sya eh." Ali sadly sighed.

I didn't know he was a fan of Leonor Marte-Custodio.

"So ito nga beh! Si Lola Rosi kasi dati po palang nag-work na yaya ni Mrs. MC. Sabi ni Lola Rosi bata palang daw mahilig na din kasi si Mrs. MC manood ng Darna at ginagaya pa daw nila. Ayun natuluyan maging Darna kasi super galing din na actress! Eh iconic si madam, kaya daw itong si Lola pinangalanang Narda si beshie nung ipinanganak."

"Really? Lola Rosi?" I asked in surprise.

Narda awkwardly smiled as she nodded. Is she shy about it?

Cause I think her name is perfect for her. It speaks her qualities kasi.

"Wait, I just noticed." I stopped walking again and turned to Narda na tumigil din.
