chapter eleven

It's Wednesday, yesterday was pretty crazy. After school we all hung out at tori's, we played games and stuff. It's already half way through the school day, lunchtime to be exact. I grab the pasta I just ordered from festus, and go sit down at the table.

"hey guys!" I say as I sit down

"heyy" cat replies

"hi!" tori says

jade gives me a smile, robbie and andre are to busy arguing over some video they saw to even notice that I sat down.

"sooo you guys are all coming to my party friday right?" tori asks

"yeah" "I guess" me, cat, and jade all say in unison

tori clears her throat "boys", "boys" she says again they still don't hear her over there bickering "boys!"

"yeah what's up" andre says like he wasn't just in a full blow argument

"yes tori!" robbie replies

"you guys are coming to the party on Friday right?" she asks again rolling her eyes

"yeah" andre answers

"and you all are coming to my house early, to set up?" she says pointing to all of us

we all say yes in our own ways, "oh boys! I am ever so grateful to have you over to my wonderful home, maybe when your there we can have some sweet time alone" jade says in her mocking tori voice

"I do not talk like that!" tori defends

"whatever" jade says exaggerated

"well maybe it wouldn't be so bad if we had alone time tori" Robbie says to tori

"ew gross Robbie!" tori says

"yeah that's pretty weird Robbie.." cat say quietly

"yeah rob, not cool," andre adds

I'm chuckling to myself and jade is snickering. we all sit, eat out lunch and talk. me and jade are holding hands under the table. 

the last bell rings, and it's finally time to go home. I go to my locker and grab all of my things. jade comes up to me I see her this time so she doesn't have the chance to scare me.

"hey, come over?" she asks

"yeah! but I have to do that assignment for sikowitz" I say back

"me too we'll do it together, meet me at my house." she says

"that didn't sound like a question.." I say teasing

"fine, will you meet me at my house?" she says with a fake smile

"yes I will!" I say smiling

she walks away to her locker, I put my backpack on and go out to my car. I stop for coffee (not at Starbucks we support Palestine) then I head to jade's. I get there and just walk in like she told me to start doing.

"yeah tomorrow's perfect, thanks" jade says to someone on the phone then she hangs up

"who you talkin' to?" I ask skeptically

"who told you, you could just walk in" she asks defensively

"oh I don't know..you did!!" I say back kind of getting upset

"Yeah I did say that..it was no one, just forget about it" jade answers

"no who was that? who are you going to see tomorrow?" I ask trying to hide the fact that i'm getting upset

"chill out, it was no one" jade says back

"will you just tell me, I won't get upset.."

"fine sense your gonna cry about it, it's a surprise, for you" she says rolling her eyes

"are you lying?" I ask kinda relieved

"would I ever lie to you?" she asks I give her a look "okay, no i'm not lying" she says chuckling

"I got you coffee," I say trying to hide my smile

"thank you, and don't worry I only have eyes for you" She says smirking, grabbing the coffee out of my hand and dragging me upstairs to her room.

we try to work on the assignment for a couple hours, but we're mostly talking and messing around. it's dark outside now.

"hey did you finish your song yet?" I ask

"yeah, I did" she answer

"can I see it?" I ask smirking

"no, you'll hear it at the full moon jam" she replies calmly

"pleaseeeee" I beg

"as much as I love to hear you begging, no you can wait," she replies smirking

"oh come on pleaseee" I say scooting closer

"noooo"

"okay fine, will you at least tell me, what or who it's about?"

"nope you'll hear it in two days" she answers not giving in

"fine." I roll my eyes and lay down "we didn't get anything done" I groan

"get up." she demands

"what, why?" I ask

"just get up," she says standing up and holding out her hand to help me up

I take it and stand up "where are we going?" I ask

"outside," she replies dragging me downstairs

"okay?..why?" I ask

"would you just shut up"

"rude!"

we get outside, and sit down on the grass.

"you're a really fun person, I really like hanging out with you" I say so quietly it's like I didn't say it at all

"is that what you were gonna say the other night?" she asks

"no" I say smiling and rolling my eyes

"okay." she replies softly chuckling

she grabs me waist and pulls me closer.
