chapter nineteen

your pov:

I still don't know where the ring could be, I've checked the lost and found for the past couple of days It still hasn't shown up. I do have a suspicion, the girl who knocked them over was just talking to beck and did come out of the stall a little too fast, but i'm not gonna tell jade about it, it would be a whole thing.

It's almost time for the last bell of the day to ring, i'm staring at the clock not really listening. finally it rings and I get up fast. I walk out into the hallway and to my locker. I grab my stuff and walk over to jade's locker.

"hey!" I smile

"hi" she smiles back "comeover?"

"yeah, i'll meet you at yours?"

she nods and kisses me. I get in my car and cat comes walking by. I see her and wave for her to come sit with me and talk for a little bit.

"hey cat, I feel like we haven't hungout just us in a while" I says smiling as she gets in

"I know, wanna hangout today?" she asks

"I can't today me and jade are hanging out, but any other day is good,"

"oh okay!" she says with the same kind of unsettling clueless smile she always has

"how are you getting home?"

"my roommate"

"is she here..?" I question

"nope!" she answers with the same smile

"okay so where is she..." I question again

"I think she fell asleep again!"

"i'll just take you home.." I chuckle and roll my eyes

we drive to her apartment, and she talks the whole way there about absolutely nothing. maybe this is why me and cat don't hangout that often...

"wanna come in just for a second? you can meet my roommate!" she asks

"um sure but just for a second" I answer

"yayyy" she squeals

we get up to her apartment, and walk in. Her roommate is in fact sleeping on the couch. I know her she did Icarly.

"sam!" cat yells

"whatttt..." the roommate says waking up

"you were supposed to pick me uppp!"

"oh yeah sorry," she squints her eyes "who's that?" she asks pointing at me

"that's my friend, y/n" cat answers putting her arm around me

"hey," I smile

"hey, I'm sam" she says dragging herself off of the couch and into the kitchen

"you're apartments nice, why don't you have any of us over?" I ask

"I don't know" she answer putting her bag down

I go to the kitchen and grab a glass of water "soo you did Icarly?" I ask

"yup," she answers dryly

she reminds me of jade, I'm not so sure if they would get along. (yes I know they get along in that one episode of sam and cat, don't come for me I know my lore 😏)

I stay for a bit and we all talk and watch tv, sam has warmed up to me, and I like how she treats cat even though she forgot to pick her up. It's been about an hour.

"no, yeah we did that idiot farm girl bit a lot" she chuckles

"yeah I used to watch you guys, Icarly is funny, where is carly now?" I ask
