Ch. 2 Arrival-Aetheria

As Miyu finally steps outside her home, she is greeted with the serene beauty of the outskirts of Aetheria. The fertile land surrounding her cottage is filled with lush greenery, vibrant flowers, and tall, majestic trees. The air is fresh and crisp, carrying the scent of nature. For as long as she lived on this land she still has no idea what the species of plants that live here are called. It's been over 8 years since she first arrived in the kingdom of Aetheria. None of it looks remotely normal to the rest of the world outside of it.

The stone roads that lead from her home meander through the landscape, adding a touch of rustic charm to the surroundings. As she looks around, she can see the peacefulness of the area, undisturbed by the hustle and bustle of city life.

Miyu's Home
Miyu's home itself is a captivating sight. From the outside, it resembles a charming cottage, with its whitewashed walls and thatched roof. However, there are subtle modern influences incorporated into the design, giving it a unique twist. Gothic elements can be seen in the intricate wrought-iron details and ornate architecture.

Surrounded by the tall, ancient trees, Miyu's home feels like a hidden gem nestled in nature. The gentle breeze rustles the leaves and carries their whispers as she takes in the beauty around her. The tranquil atmosphere provides solace and tranquility, a stark contrast to the chaos of the city she is heading  into.

As Miyu glances over through her eyes she bids farewell to her home, she carries with her the memories of its enchanting ambiance, ready to face the world beyond its peaceful embrace.

With her heart brimming with anticipation, Miyu gathered her belongings, casting one last glance at her cherished home before stepping out into the world. She is to embark on– one that embodied the spirit of knowledge, growth, and hopefully friendship that awaited her.

Miyu's motorbike (gift from Osamu)

Heading out to her motorbike, she couldn't help it. She had to admire the craftsmanship. It was a fast and comfortable bike, her absolute favorite. This bike was a perfect blend of mechanics and magic that made it truly special.

The sleek frame of the bike was painted in a deep midnight blue, with intricate silver designs running along its sides. The seat was made of plush black leather, inviting her to sink in and enjoy the ride. The handlebars were smooth and polished, fitting perfectly into her grip as she maneuvered through the streets.

The wheels were a stunning combination of metal and enchantment. Each spoke glowed with a faint blue light, illuminating the path ahead in the darkness. The tires were made of a special compound that allowed for excellent traction, making every turn smooth and effortless.

As she hopped onto her beloved motorbike, the engine purred to life with a melodic hum. The sound was both powerful and soothing, resonating through her entire being. She could feel the subtle vibrations as the bike eagerly awaited their next adventure together.

With a single twist of the throttle, she accelerated forward, effortlessly gliding down a small dirt path. The wind caressed her face, a refreshing kiss of freedom. She weaved through traffic of trees with grace and ease, the bike responding to her every command.

As she rode towards the center of the kingdom, a surge of excitement ran through her veins. The combination of the upcoming entrance ceremony and the exhilarating ride on her magical motorbike filled her with a sense of giddy anticipation.

As she double-checked her belongings and adjusted her glasses, the phone embedded in her earpiece suddenly rang. It was her brother, who had achieved great success in his own pursuits. Having already spent two years at Elysian Academy with the highest honors at 19-years old, he had become a part of one of the king's direct commanding officers, thanks to his remarkable magic skills and combat prowess.

Overjoyed by Miyu's upcoming her brother starts the conversation..

Osamu Tachibana
"Hey Miyu, how's it going? I heard you're about to embark on your first experience! That's amazing!"

Miyu apathetically responds,

Miyu Tachibana
"Thanks, Osamu Yeah, I'm a little nervous, but also excited. It's a big step for me."

Osamu doubles down on his excitement for her,

Osamu Tachibana
"I can imagine. But hey, remember that your brother believes in you and wishes you all the luck in the world. He's been through it, too, you know."

Miyu Tachibana
"Yeah, I know. He always tells me stories about his own experiences. Sometimes's hard to take him seriously with all his goofiness, though." She's say aggrieved by his output of energy over call.

Osamu Tachibana
"Haha, I get that. It's his way of lightening the mood and making sure you don't take everything too seriously. But deep down, he's proud of you and wants you to succeed." Osamu says in reverence

Miyu Tachibana
"I know he's proud of me, and I love him for it. It's just that sometimes I wish he would be more serious when it's needed. Like now, before this important event for me."

Osamu Tachibana
"I understand, Miyu. Maybe it's time for a heart-to-heart conversation with him about this. Let him know how much you appreciate his support, but also that you need him to be more focused during those serious moments."

Miyu Tachibana
"That's a good idea. I'll talk to you about it later, after my ride. Right now, I need to stay focused myself and do my best."

Osamu Tachibana
"Absolutely, Miyu. You've got this! Remember, I am always there for you, even if I do have a silly side. Good luck on your ride, and don't forget to enjoy the experience! It wasn't cheap."

Miyu Tachibana
"Thank you, Osamu. I'll keep that in mind. I haven't forgotten we still need to talk about Paa, we will talk in person though. Alright, I need to go now. Take care, and I'll catch up with you later."

Osamu Tachibana
"No worries I'll see you when I can. Oh, one last thing since I just remembered. I also have something for you that will be extremely useful. Good luck, I'll be rooting for you. Take care and enjoy the ride!"

Call ends..

Miyu smiles softly as she continues on her path. This time she turns on one of her favorite bands called ŞAŞ really popular amongst the Mystique community.
