Lily and Annie had been on their vacation for three days now, and it was officially New Year's Eve in Hawaii. They were both a bit bummed out, since some of their friends from school were all together for tonight. Lily and Ethan have been texting non stop, and it almost made her miss him even more.

It was kind of funny to act like she didn't understand what she was saying, because she felt awkward. Not that it made her uncomfortable or anything, she just never knew how to reply to texts like that.
Ethan always wanted to die when he would send flirty texts to her, and she would act oblivious. He knew she understood, and he knew she did it to annoy him.
