Love's Time Ride

Ch- 1 The Encounter

'Sigh... Finally, work is done.' The girl had finished her night shift and was packing up her things to go when she saw a cup of coffee spill on the third shelf of the convenience store. 'Fuck it!' She couldn't help but utter the word out in the empty store. Poor Aleana. She was just 23 years old. Her parents died in a car accident while being able to save their daughter and son. Her brother went abroad to study. So she did part-time job for her brother's college fees. But she knew she wouldn't be able to study and learn at the same time so decided to work full time to work her butt off. But no matter how bored she was, she would never ever miss the opportunity to pet a stray dog or cat on her way. 

 She had no friends except Rufy who is one of her primary classmates. She is her best friend who often comes to her house to check up on Aleana and would hangout with her. Only she was Aleana's safe zone and warm blanket where she could dive into.

 It was kind of hard for her working in the convenience store in the bustling streets of New York specially when the boss was rude. But with the amount of qualifications she had, it was the highest paying job. Her mother was of Chinese origin who met a USA guy and fell in love. And their product was her and her brother, Siowen.

 The regular boring schedule went on but one fine hot day, she noticed something, a pair of earrings which were made of glass with blue sparkles like fireworks. But of course, beauty comes with price. Those earrings were being up for sale by a old woman with greyish hair. "Guess she needs money! But I have to say these are really pretty" The old woman noticed it and told her "You are looking for these, pretty lady? You have got an eye because these will change your life, I guarantee you." The way the old woman was saying with her hands dancing, to say the truth, it was creepy for Aleana. But she was really mesmerized with the beauty of those earrings rather with the talk. So couldn't help but bought it. That beautiful pair of earrings, without any owner, it just looked like those earrings were waiting for her.

   After reaching her home, she was sleepy but knew she won't really be able to sleep without food. She quickly took out the ramen noodles from fridge and ate it. After changing into a night suit, she noticed the earring which she kept on the bed before. She couldn't help but wear it. After modelling in front of the mirror for a bit ,she got near the bed to keep it. But the soft hug and touch on the bed made Aleana sleepy. Thinking she will just rest her eyes and not sleep, she dived in the ocean of softness.

  When she woke up, it wasn't because of any alarm or stress because she had a pretty good, deep dream. She woke up to hear someone screaming outside. She wiped her blurry eyes and but still sleep was whelming her. She opened the door to find direct sunshine slapping her face.  Aleana went outside and found out that an old man, probable in his mid-60s shouting at her wife who was ignoring and bathing the cows. She was really annoyed with the screaming sound but she knew she had to give respect to elders so with utmost respect, she asked "Uncle, aunty what happened?" The old man shouted back, "What Uncle? Got too much sleep? Here I am working day and night, and you? You are our highness, right? You must always have your beauty sleep!" Now she was really very angry with him. " Ok, sure. I should give respect but should I get this? Firstly, he starts shouting outside my house, secondly, he has the audacity to talk to me like this? Maybe I should ask that lady. I guess I know why she is ignoring his husband! After all, its weekend! I need my sleep!" So she turned around and went to the stables to ask her. The old woman immediately touched Aleana's forehead to check her temperature and asked if she was alright. Now she was questioning herself. Has the world gone mad or her? She didn't say anything to that unknown lady and went back to her room. 

   She tried to find the washroom but...where is it? She now rubbed her eyes vigorously incase she was still dreaming. But OMG! "What dress am i wearing? Ahh? Why are the scars in my hand? Wait...Where is this??!" She was now really finding it impossible to believe. She pinched herself, slapped herself, hurt herself in the wall. But she was getting the pain!! She say a mirror lying there, on the ground alone, waiting to be picked. She brought it closer to her face and "AHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!! WHOSE FRICKING FACE IS THIS!!!!!!"

   She was shocked to see a different and a more beautiful face in the mirror and noticed that everything had changed; her apparel, her face, her hair, shoes, everything. Except the earrings which were the same as she bought yesterday. Her detective mind got to work now after a really long time. "Hmm....This earring. Maybe it's magical. Well, I don't believe it but I am getting seriously hurt." She thought of looking at the structure of the earrings thinking maybe it has a button to get herself back. She touched her earrings and then found herself in a whole different world with pink color everywhere. FRICKING EVERYWHERE. DOWN, UP, LEFT, RIGHT. Now she was all alone, alone in a "maybe 4- dimension thing as Doraemon says". Suddenly out of nowhere popped out a dressed pig and the pig started talking. 

 "Hello Aleana, welcome...",said the cat. "Oh, I'm seeing a dream within a dream?! Now that's something new!" Aleana pinched herself on her cheeks thinking maybe she will get out of it altogether. But no... it wasn't getting her out. If anything, she was just getting hurt. With no one and nothing to help her out, she decided to talk out with that beast or whatever it was. Aleana now really was annoyed so she couldn't help but be rude "Tell me pig, what am I doing here or I will kill you and eat a bacon feast today!" The pig was immediately scared by the response. He couldn't let her kill him, he has a wife to feed. He said "Uh..Uh... don't be so cruel, Aleana. Let me tell you, I came here because of an accident on behalf of the king of Hell, Satan. And I am Shofu. This is called..." Listen, Shofu, said Aleana angrily. I don't care what your name is and who you are. Just give me my life back". "Sorry, Aleana, I can't because you will get your real life back only when you have fulfilled your missions...here!", said Shofu.

Now what will happen to her? Can she go back? Who is he? Does God Of Hell really exists as he is saying?
