Cristine woke up early the next morning but Clint already went to work. And again, he wasn't able to eat his breakfast. Aunt Pang prepared sandwiches and put it in a container. She looked at Cristine and smiled. "It's great that Clint has a fiancé. This way he wouldn't miss his meals." Cristine just finished showering and was ready to go bring Clint's snack. "He misses his meals often?", Cristine asked.

Aunt Pang put the container inside a paper bag before answering, "Yes. Every day, he goes to work early and doesn't eat breakfast. He comes home very late at night and when I come the next morning, his dinner isn't touched. I've always warned him to eat and not exhaust himself but to no avail." She sighed.

Cristine held the paper bag and went in the building. The receptionist, this time, permitted her to go inside directly. While waiting for the elevator, a man stood beside her. They both got in the elevator. The man pressed the floor he was going to and noticed that Cristine haven't pressed her floor yet.

"Which floor are you going?", he turned to Cristine and what met his eyes was Cristine looking confused and seemed to be thinking deep. The man thought she was cute and chuckled. Hearing the man chuckle, Cristine looked at him and realizing that the man was laughing at her, she couldn't help but be embarrassed.

When she came last time, he was with the right-hand man of Clint and she didn't notice what floor he pressed when they took the elevator. She couldn't help but sigh. The man asked, "It couldn't be that you forgot the floor you're going?"

Cristine awkwardly smiled, "Rather than forgetting what floor, I actually don't know the floor where I am going." The man looked at her in doubt and thought she was joking but looking at the serious face of the girl, he then believed her. "Well, what department or who are you visiting? I might know where."

Cristine smiled, "I'm going to the president's office."

The man lifted his brows in question, "You're visiting the president?"

Cristine nodded. The man looked confused and once again looked at Cristine before saying, "I'm also going there."

Joyful, "That's great!", Cristine replied. She looked at the floor the man pressed. "Tenth floor! I'll remember that", she said to herself.

The man beside her is actually Clint's childhood friend. Clint's acquaintances can be counted with only the fingers of the hands so he was confused as to who this girl was. He never saw her before. She even said she was visiting Clint. With the years he knew Clint, no one would actually visit him unless it was all about business. The girl doesn't look like she came for a business meeting. He again looked at the girl with curiosity. As the elevator doors opened, he actually remembered something and grabbed Cristine's hand who was already getting off.

"You're that fiancé who was in coma?", he asked earnestly.

Startled by the man's actions, Cristine couldn't answer in time. She retracted her arm from the man's hold and didn't answer him. She instead looked at him with a questioning look. They both stepped outside when the elevator was about to close.

"I'm so sorry about that. I can't believe Clint didn't inform me about these. He didn't say you're awake." The man grinned. "Let's go". He started walking towards the CEO's room. Cristine didn't know what the grin was about but she still followed the man.

The secretary greeted the man, "Good morning, Vice President." The man smiled at her and opened the door. Cristine was surprised that this man was actually the VP.

Clint was reviewing some files on his desk and didn't notice the two. He didn't lift his head and his eyes were still burrowed to the folder in his hand.
