Finally the D-day has come for Priya.. It's her engagement ceremony today.

" Come soon yaar" Rida's voice laced out from the living room.

" Aa rahi hu yaar." I responded by combing my hair.

Both mom and dad also got ready. They are just waiting for me to come..
Today for the first time I wore saree.. It is lavander shaded one, and let my hair free. I stepped into the living room.

" Wow yarr Saniya.. You are looking so gorgeous" Rida said.

" Yeah you are right Rida. Nazar na Lage" ammi said by side hugging me.
Meanwhile my baba started capturing my picture without telling me.

"Achaa my baba come on we will go now" I wrapped my arms around his arms and pulled him.

" You are looking like my baby doll." He said kissing my temple.

We left for Priya's  engagement ceremony hall. Rida and I started roaming and checking over the guests,,, since we both are best friends of her and she even doesn't have any siblings so her mom and dad asked us to take care of small things.

" Priya is on cloud nine right" Rida said grinning happily.

" Ofcourse,, she found her soulmate.. Adhitya take good care of her.. " Aditya is Priya's fiancee.

All the rituals,, went well. I'm witnessing all these for the first time. As she is the only one Hindu best friend I got all these are very new to us. Engagement ceremony has completed and guests started departing.

" Shall we go laddu " ammi asked me.

" Aunty let her stay with us for sometime... I'll drop her soon while I'm returning home."

" Okay Rida " ammi said caressing her cheek.

" Come soon" baba said caressing my cheek and left a kiss on my forehead. Both my mom and dad left..
Here we started our chit chats and started teasing the couple. Adhitya is very shy person. He doesn't even talked to us,, but somehow he started talking very politely.

Meanwhile Priya is a chatterbox. I love this duo. We all were having chocolate cake, and when chocolate slipped over Priya's lip, her fiancee wiped it with his finger and soon licked the chocolate..
" Awwww,, look, Saniya they are doing romance here." Rida said.

" Arey yaar aap kahange toh ham chali jayenge,, you can continue your romance. " I said ,, smirking at Rida...
" Hoo god Rida and Saniya. What did I do, I just licked chocolate with my finger. I didn't directly lick it with my tongue right!!" Adhitya uttered soon Priya's eyes widened and her face turned into Crimson red..
God,they are so adorable and cute. I love these people.

" Haaaaaa,, meri bhi shadi karne ki mann ho raha hai.. Allah mujhe bhi jaldi se ek ache ladka chahiye... " Rida said keeping her palm open and praying. We all cleared out throats looking at her.

" Pagal ladki" I hit her head.

Looking at these couple, I remembered my husband, actually that night was the last time I spoke with him. After that we didn't have any convo or calls. I was busy with my girls and most of the time with my baba.. All I'm worried about is, how he is doing now. Even when he called me and texted me, I didn't reply. I thought of replying after sometime but later, I'll be engaged in some other work.. Totally it's 2 days and 1 night I didn't speak with him.. He must be angry with me.

" Arey Saniya. Where were you lost" Rida snapped.

" Nothing I'll just come within few minutes" I said and stood from my place.
