30. Stuck in dark

Sheya's eyes fluttered open. She looked around and realized she was still in school.

The space was haunting her, and she was terrified by the darkness enveloping the room.

Somehow, she reached for the door and started pounding on it.

God knows who had locked her in the school's storage room.

She sensed something was terribly wrong; the room's atmosphere felt oppressive.

Placing her hand on her chest, she felt her heart racing.

The sunset’s dim light scared her by indicating the time.

She tapped her watch and glanced at the screen, her eyes widening.

"Are they a bunch of morons?" she screamed.

She regretted ever meeting Julie.

She didn't understand Julie's intentions, but she had clearly trapped her here.

Already irritated, she saw a lizard, which only aggravated her further.

Her sweat was making her uncomfortable; she felt overheated.

And spending a night with a lizard? Hell, no!

"Mummy, Papa must be worried sick about me! Damn, where did I get stuck?" she cursed her luck.

Meanwhile, Yuvi quickly went to Karv to seek help.

He would definitely assist her.

She knocked on his door, and he let her in.

He was tending to his cat.

"Yuvi, isn't she cute—"

"Bhai, deal with it later. Now you have to come with me!"

"What happened?" he asked, looking serious.

"Sheya is still in school!" she said, running outside.

He was caught off guard. He placed his cat, Piku, in her spot.

He also ran after her.

Arav was in the living room, playing a game, and saw Karv and Yuvi rushing outside.

So he followed them too.

"Bhai, where are you going? I'm coming too!"

He said, but they both ignored him.

He sat in the back seat.

Karv sped his car towards the school. In the meantime, he called the principal to open the gate for them.

The principal sent the key to the school.

Karv accelerated his car, and Arav was bewildered by what was happening.
