Chapter 18 - Destruction of Konoha

It have been one week since Naruto left.

Everything was peaceful and everyone was happy. But how long would it last?

Outside of Konoha, there stood seven mysterious people. Six of them had orange hair. Five man and two womans. One of the women's had orange hair like the others while the other one had purple hair and a lip piercing.

But that was not all, all of them had Akatsuki cloaks.

A while ago, some Konoha shinobies that were guarding the village encountered them. But unfortunately, they were killed.

Now, the enemy was standing outside of Konoha.

"How do you plan to enter the village. You know that they have a invisible barrage that once someone who isn't from Konoha enters the village the alarm will start ringing."

"Just watch."

One of the Pein's jumped in the air.

"Why are we going on a date again?" Sarada asked.

"This isn't a date, jeez. Why do you always think that everytime we go somewhere is a date?"

"I never do that!"

"I'm starting to think that you like me or something!"

"W-what!" Sarada blushed. "No way in hell!"

As they walked around the village, someone dropped from the skies creating a huge hole where he landed.

"Oh shit!" Boruto said.

"What is it?"

"We need to run! Now!"

Boruto grabbed Sarada's hand and they ran towards the village exit.

"We need to get out of here!"

"Tell me what's going on!"

"It's the Pein attack! This is bad!How could I forget this?!"

"WHAT!"

"If we stay here any longer, we will probably die! You wanna die?!"

"We won't die! And what's with you! You are a shinobi! Shinobi don't run away from their problems!"

"Well, if you wanna die then fine!"

"Boruto come back here! We need to help the-"

"Where is Naruto Uzumaki?"

Boruto's and Sarada's eyes widen. They turned around and saw one of the Pein's.

"We d-don't know."

Pein grabbed Sarada by the neck.

"I'll ask again, where is Naruto Uzumaki."

"Like I'll tell you!" Boruto said.

Boruto created a mini looking Rasengan.

"Hmm?"

He trew the Rasengan at the enemy but before it could reach the enemy, the Rasengan disappeared.

"Boruto! I though you learned-"

But out of nowhere, the enemy was hit by something.

"Argh!"

Boruto smiled and then grabbed Sarada.

"Now see why we need to get out of here?"

"But still! The villagers don't know Rasengan or any kind of jutsu to protect them selves!"

"Sarada listen for once! We might save someone that has had been killed!"

"Who cares! They will all be alive after the fight! Have you forgotten? Of course you did since you never paid attention in the history class!"

"Ok, fine! But after we do that, we run away from here!"

"Urgh, fine!"

Most of the villagers have made it to the shelters.

"Okay! Now that we done that, we really need to get out of here!"

"Boruto... Are you scared?"

"What are you talking about? Of course I am scared! I'm scared to not change the future!"

"Are you-"

"Listen Sarada, we cannot change the future. You wanna see your dad again? Your mother? Then don't change the future! I talked to that old hag a while ago. I told her we cannot help them! And she understood!"

"I don't care Boruto! We cannot just leave and let many people die!"

"They come back to life anyways!"

"You know that many died by now!"

"Including Kakashi!"

"Wait what?! W-what?"

"Oh... You didn't-"

"We are staying and that's final!"

-back with Pein-

"And now... This world shall know pein! All mighty PUSH!"

Then everything was covered in light.

Every building was destroyed, everything was destroyed.

"BORUTOOO!"

Hey guys! Ready for some angst? Next chapter sure has a lot of angst in it!

By the way, sorry the chaper is short!

Now I feel like Masashi Kishimoto when he kills a character! Muhahaha

And I'm not saying anything that could spoil what's going to happen in the next chapter.
