After getting your pencils, your not quite done with shopping.

When you sketch, your bound to make mistakes. Duh! So you have to fix those mistakes, so it won't bother you for the rest of the day!

The eraser is the second most essential thing for art.

There are 3 kinds of erasers:

1. Just doesn't get the job done right.
-This eraser usually only half erases your mistakes and you usually end up ripping the paper from the amount of force your putting on it. (Pink erasers) Don't get this type!

2. Screws up everything.
-This type of eraser smears color and pencil to the extreme. No matter what you do, the color always smears more. Don't get this type!

3. Just right.
-This is the eraser you should be using. With every stroke you make with it, the pencil marks disappear without a trace of it ever being there.
Best example: Pentel Hi-Polymer Eraser.
This eraser is the way to go. They last a long time and are of the highest quality. Though they may be a bit more expensive than your standard pink erasers, you can usually find them in a 3 pack at Staples.

Always fix your mistakes!
