Christine's POV

I'm currently reading the first Magnus Chase book when Kat called me from the other room. "What?!" I called back out, a bit annoyed at her for interrupting my book.

"Come here, there's someone at the door," she told me. Now I'm pretty curious, who was at the door? Surely it wasn't Tim, he wasn't even in America! Jesse wasn't in our area at the moment, nor was Ben... who could this be? I got up and made my way to the door. I saw Kat there looking through the peephole.

"Why don't you just open the door," I laughed, though she looked nervous and confused at the same time.

"I don't know who it is, but there's two of them-" she started explaining what they looked like before I cut her off.

"Why don't you just open the freaking door?" I asked her. She nodded and slowly opened the door revealing two people on the other side. One was a guy, he had black hair and had on a sarcastic smile. His eyes were blue-ish, green-ish and appeared to be moving. The other person, the girl, had her messy blonde hair in a high ponytail. She looked very intimidating and had mesmerizing grey eyes that completed the whole look.

"Yeah hi, I'm Percy and this is Annabeth and do you mind if we come in?" Percy asked quite fast. Percy and Annabeth from the books??? Awesome!!! When I looked back at Perce though, he looked in pain.

"Yes, yes, of course," I said guiding them to the couch.

Once they got settled down, Annabeth looked at Kat and I and asked "Do you have any gauze? Percy's hurt his hand pretty badly here."

I started walking towards the bathroom, "On second thought, mind showing us a sink? The bleeding doesn't seem to be stopping," she added. I motioned for them to follow me and lead them to the bathroom sink.

Once we had that problem solved, they said they had to talk to us. "I'm sure you've read the books, mind if I see your copies?" Annabeth asked us. Odd question for someone you jut met, but I went to get the series anyway along with Kat. I might regret this later.

We came back with our Percy Jackson series' in our arms. Percy took one of mine and Kat's and looked at them closely. "You guys do realize these aren't English right?" he asked running his finger along the spine.

Kat and I looked at each other confused, "Yeah they are," said Kat.

"No they're not, Athena and Hermes helped Percy write and publish the books, they put out 5 copies that were in Ancient Greek. Whoever had those copies and thought it was in English was a demigod," Annabeth argued back. Were Kat and I demigods then? This really left us thinking.

"With you two having no idea, no monsters came your way... yet," Percy quickly said.

I was still not sure about everything though, I saw Kat all in for it. I don't know though. What if this was all a prank and there was a hidden camera somewhere? "How do I know that you're telling the truth?" I asked the couple. Annabeth groaned while Percy made the water from the sink splash in my face.

"Wake up, hell isn't real, it's called Tartarus. Heaven isn't either, it's called Elysium. The Greek gods are real, so are the Romans, and it's safe to say that more than half of them are pricks," Percy groaned and left Annabeth with her jaw hanging open at his statement. Thunder rumbled from outside though there was no sign of storms.

"Okay fine, we believe you. What now?" I asked looking at Kat for approval. She nodded her head and turned back to Percy and Annabeth.

"What now? What now? We... take you to-" Annabeth started saying but got interrupted by her boyfriend.

"Right now we run because there is legit a chimera right there out your window," he exclaimed bolting out our apartment. We look at the window and sure enough a chimera was climbing in.

Kat and I follow Annabeth running feeling the wind in our hair. I knew I was really tired but I didn't care. I just figured out I was a demigod and the Percy Jackson and Annabeth Chase informed me of this.
