When I was about 15, my family rented a house from some guy who was deported to Korea or something. It had a gigantic basement with sheets separating it into 2 equal sections, one side was used to store all of this guy's boxes, and the other side was my room. One night it was like 3 am and I couldn't fall asleep. I was just randomly looking around at stuff trying to fall asleep when I saw someone walk behind the sheet.
I was scared ****less. I tried to determine whether it could have been a shadow from someone walking outside but the area had a lot of trees, so no one walking on the sidewalk could have projected a shadow on the sheet.
The shadow wasn't distorted either, it looked like someone was walking like 2 inches away from the sheet and the only entrance to the basement was on my side. After writing this, I'm fairly certain when I look away from the screen there will be some horribly disfigured ghost.
