It's freaking awesome. If you need a cataclysmic event to start your story's apocalypse, here are some possibilities. These are just vague ideas, so do some more research to get the scientific evidence behind them and really make your story legit and believable. :)

I had no idea robotics was so advanced. Just look at HRP-4C at 2:29! Real-life Chobits/Persacoms, anyone? I legit made this face when I saw that: O__O), History's 10 Most Mysterious Disappearances, World's 10 Humans With Real Superpowers (AAAH~!), and sooo many more.
