"Simon says 'sit down,'" he commanded, his voice steady yet powerful.
Each child, very quickly, sat down. His eyes searched them thoroughly. They stared back at him with fear.
"Now stand up," he continued. Everything was silent, then one girl shot up. Standing as straight as she could, she smiled at him, then frowned at her fellow players.
With realisation, she looked at the game host.
His bullet was already soaring in the air toward her skull.
When the girl's lifeless body dropped to the floor, he said "I didn't say 'Simon says.'"
"Now..." He turned to rest of the children, waiting wide-eyed for their next instruction.
