5. Lesson one

Luckily Blake wasn't in my form or I would be fucked, but he was in my english- which I had next. So during Form I fidgeted and tapped nervously- Even though nobody had made a comment yet- didn't mean they wasn't going to later. I ended with my thumb between my teeth trying to breath

BRINGGGG! BRINGGG! BRINGGG!

The bell wen off and I think I was the slowest in getting up and leaving the room. To be honest, I didn't care If I got a detention, It's not like I've never got one before. It took me five minutes to walk to class and by now Mr Allot had already started to class, I sighed and pushed the door open

"And why, may I ask, are you late Myra?" Mr Allot asked stopping the lesson. All heads turned to me- but luckily, my mind was in Ginger mode, so it didn't bother me. I ignored the teacher and walked to my seat "Myra!" The teacher repeated.

I didn't say anything till I was in my seat "Does it really matter what I say?" I snapped, for some reason I was very edgy- note the sarcasm "You'll only tell me 'it's not good enough' or some snarky comeback- which to be honest we could both do without." I shrugged. Gasped sounded from around the room, no one's heard me talk like that- to anyone, never mind a teacher

"OUT!" he roared pointing sharply to the door, his figure going rigid and eyes blazing like they were on fire

I groaned "but-"

"Get out Myra."

"Seriously?"

"MYRA!"

I frowned while getting up and again took my time in leaving the room "Detention?" I asked innocently before I opened the door

"DETENTION!" he yelled anger streaming from his words

I huffed. I don't know why I was acting like this- it wasn't me- not really. It was part of me. Laughs erupted from the class room behind me and I felt somewhat embarrassed- this definitely wasn't me.

By the time I got the Headmaster's office, I was starting to regret my actions back in English. I'm just nervous. So instead, I just walked straight past it and out of the building, I'll deal with all that tomorrow. The wind was cool against my skin, would school actually miss me if I just capped? I mean- It's not like I'll learn anything anyway... With a shrug, I walked through the school grounds, towards the school gates. I was almost there when I heard a voice calling after me, I sighed.

Could I not catch a break?

"MYRA! HEY, SLOW DOWN WILL YA?! MYRA!" there calls were never ending, so reluctantly, I turned around. I regretted straight away, running down the path towards me was Blake Samuels. I frowned, what did he want "where you... going?" he asked once he caught up to me. He was panting slightly, a thin line of sweat on his forehead

"The Gym" I shrugged "hey- did you run from English?"

"yeah, why?"

"and your tired?" I asked quietly

He looked down "I know it might be hard to train me, properly. But you have to; you have no choice" he looked me in the eye "Because if you don't I'll tell everyone about your little secret!" he threatened, his eyes narrowing into thin slits. His whole body went tense and his nostrils flared

I nodded "I know. I guess I just expected more from the schools bad boy" I whispered, shrugging

"you know, I might as well come with" he stepped closer, slinging his arm over my shoulder as he pushed me out the gates. I tensed under his hold, not liking the closeness
