"Madara."

Hashirama's voice snapped Madara back to his--her senses.

"Hn?" She hummed, previously thinking about dango.

"When we grow up--who do you plan to marry?"

"Myself." Madara answers quickly, without giving it any second thought.

An arrow pierced Hashirama.

"Um, aside from y--"

"Me."

Hashirama deflated. "You need to marry someone Madara! Someone that isn't you!"

"But no one is worth my time." Madara stated. "No one except me."

"H-How about me?"

"What about you?"

Hashirama looked down.
".....Nothing." he sighed. "Am I not worth your time, Madara?"

"My time is more important to be spent with the likes of you."

"Then why are you still here?"

"It may be important, but you are also important." She sighed. "My time of course, is more important."

Hashirama was still hurt.

Madara sighed. "If I didn't have time, I wouldn't be here with you right now." She mumbled out, Hashirama didn't hear that.

"When would you ever pick me first?"

"When the first choice is gone or isn't available." Madara pinched the bridge of her nose. "In fact, why are you even asking me these useless questions?"

"I want to see if you care about me."

"I do care."

"Doesn't seem like it!"

Madara faked a smile.
"Do I look happy?"

"Yes?"

"Well I'm not." Madara grunted. "Just because it seems that way doesn't mean it is that way."

They made eye contact.

"I care. Hashirama."

"Madara..I love you."

Madara yawned. "That's great, Hashirama. Friends should love friends."

The hundred arrows hit Hashirama in an instant. "I don't love you...just as a friend, Madara."

"Hn, best friend? Great."

"Madar---"

"Shut up for a moment." At this time Madara's attention was taken by one thing, I brown bird.

"H-Huh?"

"Looks like you, Hashirama?"

"Good looking?"

"No, it's ugly."

Hashirama frowned. How is he still inlove with her?

Suddenly Madara bursted out laughing.
"Look at it! It really looks like you, Hashirama!"

But Hashirama was too busy listening to her laugh to listen to her words.

For a moment. Mesmerized by her smile.

"Oy, are you okay? You're spacing out." Madara asked.

Hashirama snapped out of it.
"I just thought that...you look really nice Madara."

"I know I do."

But the main reason Madara was captivated by the brown bird was that it resembled Hashirama too much.

So much it was scary.

But how could she notice? Maybe it was the way the birds eyes widened the way Hashirama's did or the way it scowl--

Why was she thinking about him?

Unless...

Does she love him more than a friend?

Her eyes widened.

".....Hashirama?"

"Huh?"

"Can I hug you?"

He turned red. "W-What? Why?"

"We're always supposed to hug the one we love don't we?"

He sulked.
"As a friend."

"No. As a person." Madara smiled. "I love you you idiot Hash---"
