[Nova] what do u plan on doing to sabotage them?

[Jasper] I was originally going to shout at them to shut up or keep it down but now I'm thinking I should do something more diabolical

[Nova] u should blast metal/screamo music rlly freaking loud and scare them
[Nova] wait no no i have a better idea

[Jasper] What is it?

[Nova] ok lets call for it tho

[Jasper] Okay.

[Incoming call from Nova]
[Call accepted]

"Okay, Nova, what's your--?" Jasper began but was interrupted by her.

"WHAT? JASPER, YOU WANT TO TAKE EMMETT'S PLACE?" Nova practically screeched into the phone. No doubt everyone in the Cullen household heard it, due to their enhanced hearing.

Jasper spluttered. "What?! Why would I--?"

There was an abrupt banging noise from Emmett and Rosalie's room. From Edward's room came a loud laugh, while Alice gasped from the living room. Esme and Carlisle shared a shocked inhale.

Emmett burst into Jasper's room, clothed only in basketball shorts. "YOU WANT TO WHAT?!" Emmett demanded.

Nova was pretty much cackling from the other line on the phone. Jasper spluttered and quickly responded, "I don't! It's Nova being devious, I swear!"

Edward spoke from his room, "It's true."

Emmett huffed, then left the room while slamming the door so hard it nearly fell off the hinges.

Jasper groaned, only causing the white-haired girl to laugh harder. "Nova!" he growled.

"I-I'm so s-sorry!" Nova choked out through her chuckles.

"No you're not," Jasper grumbled exasperatedly, but couldn't help the fond smile that crossed his face.

"O-okay, fine, I'm not," Nova snickered. "But admit it, that was priceless."

"For you maybe," the blond man grunted.

Nova giggled. "It got them to stop though, didn't it?"

"Yes..."

"Then my plan worked!" the young woman exclaimed. "You're welcome."

Jasper just snorted. "Sure, Nova. Sure."
