Lotus Sister

Yue Xing turned around to glance at her older sister.

Kai Hu Yi was dressed in a simple and fresh manner, with half her hair tied up and the rest flowing down neatly on her slender back, she looked pure and charming, older sister.

She walked forward gracefully, her expression calm but her gaze was frantic and shocked.

"Younger sister I heard from father that you can cultivate now? If that is so then that is splendid news!" She smiled but it wasn't genuine.

'You were the once who poisoned me in the first place.'

Yue Xing thought, as she smiled and replied nonchalantly,
"Sister, I am no longer trash, you must be furious, but don't worry, I still have a while to go before I exceed your cultivation." Her voice was calm and no malicious intent could be heard but the people around definitely knew those words where like sharp knives.

Kai Hu Yi's expression changed, she had gotten so used to Kai Yue Ling's weak personality so now it was as if those words hit her like a thousand needles.

She was flabbergasted to the point that her face paled, she suddenly smiled and recovered her act.

"Sister what nonsense are you saying? Perhaps the river did some damage to your head, your older sister would never hurt you in the slightest, nonetheless poison you!"

'Humph! Kai Yue Ling it takes more than that to beat me! Who cares if you finally recovered your wits? I'm still superior, and I'm still the main wife's daughter, while you are merely a concubine born daughter!'

Suddenly her thoughts were broken by a cold voice,

"Kai Hu Yi, I never said that my cultivation was poisoned, and that information is restricted, how did you know?" In a cold tone she spoke up, so the people around her heard everything little bit of their conversation, especially the last bit.

"Y-you... no...b-but I-"

Everyone was shocked, they took her silence as confirmation!

Suddenly the maid beside Kai Hu Yi ran as fast as lightning outside the courtyard.

She had thought long and hard, and seeing as the second young mistress was finally recovering her wits, she took this opportunity to avenge her self.

'Kai Hu Yi, don't blame me for your black heart, you are nothing compared to second mistress now that she isn't trash anymore! So what if she isn't as high in cultivation as you? She can improve, and even she finally recovered her strength and wits back. This is my opportunity to avenge my parents! I can expose all your deeds! This is your karma!'

She ran like the wind making Kai Hu Yi panic,

'That damn maid! Now I'm screwed!'
