Charles had just hopped out of his red bolide. He was content with his pace for the weekend so far. He had taken off his helmet and put his red cap on his head before taking out his earplugs. He saw you, just a few meters away, laughing at something one of the young mechanics said. He knew his trainer was standing beside him so he decided to ask him what was on his mind.
"What's up with that?"
He didn't take his eyes off the scene unfolding in front of him, especially not when the mechanic took your phone and typed something that Charles could only presume to be his number. He frowned as he was not very pleased with it.
You had been his best friend ever since you were little and over time, Charles had developed feelings for you, but he didn't have the guts to confess them and now he might be too late.
