When she was about four years old, she was seemingly possessed and started digging frantically in her parents' backyard. Her parents tried to pull her away, but failed. When she finally stopped digging, her parents' faces, which, unlike Silver, were normally rosy, went deathly pale-they saw a pin that looked like the Gumiho (fox) Goddess Eun. Silver smiled happily and immediately asked her parents to put it in her hair. Shakily, her mother pinned Silver's hair in a bun with the fox pin. From that day forward, Silver was always seen wearing it, so her parents gave her Kitsune as her nickname. Eventually, people referred to Silver as Kitsune so much, Silver became known as her nickname instead of her given name.
