I look into her eyes
She looks into mine
That eternal fire
The smile on her face
Her hands holding mine
I know I'll hold her forever
Her head is on my chest
I kiss her forehead
She holds me tighter before saying those three words
"I Love You"
I open my mouth to say them back
But nothing is coming out
All the air is suddenly being sucked out of my lungs
I look down
She has disappeared
I feel something heavy leave my chest
I don't know if it's my heart or the air being sucked out
I close my eyes
"Let Me Die"
The words running through my mind
I open my eyes
I'm awake now
In my bed
All alone
This eternal nightmare
