This isn't my world
I don't belong here
Among these people
With bright eyes and optimistic spirits
I don't belong here
With green trees and pink candy
People that see better days
They don't look lonely
They hold hands and have fun
I don't know how to feel
Can't differentiate between what's fake and what's real
Sensing betrayal and lies at every corner
But nobody cares
They choose to look past it
The moment they live in
I can't stay
They don't understand me
I'd rather just leave
Than live in this fantasy
Sugarcoated destruction
My whole life spent trying to get here
To finally embrace the fact that I'm just an Alien.
