Aria's POV

I woke up fifteen minutes before I had set the alarm. Maybe it's just a habit. Thomas wants his coffee as soon as he wakes up so, I always used to wake up a little before my alarm. Incase, if he woke up early, I would give him the coffee and he wouldn't beat me up.

He never did that but, prevention is better than cure, right?

Now that Thomas isn't here I can sleep a little more, but I have to get ready for the interview. It's really important for me to pass this interview. If I don't, then who knows, Thomas could bring Chase in anytime after he returns.

And I wouldn't want that.

Not again. Never.

I freshen up and make myself a go to PB&J sandwich. Because I didn't want to be late under any circumstances.

I take the subway to the office area and thankfully reached there on time.

This building is HUGE.

I thought FR corps was really big but this one was way more.

The interior of the building is really classy and nothing extravagant. Just modern designed walls and perfect work environment.

I go to the reception and see an old woman probably in her 50s, A ' I don't want to smile but I have no choice ' smile plastered on her face. I smiled back at her.

"Good Morning. I'm Aria Mathews, here for an interview." I said politely.

"Good morning dear. Interview for the personal assistant position of the CEO. Right?" She said while flipping some papers in a file.

"Yes" I replied shortly.

"Go to the elevators towards the left and press the button for the last floor. Okay? Good luck." She said and went back to doing her work.

"Uhm, are there any stairs because I don't really like to travel in an elevator." I asked her.

"Well, there are escalators too, if you want to. But then you will have to take many escalators to reach the second last floor and then you will have to take the staircase to the last floor. Will you be okay?" She said and I nodded. "Okay, go to the right side of the elevators and you'll see them. Alright?" She replied.

"Okay thank you." I smiled and went towards the escalators.

I really couldn't travel in an elevator. I have severe case of agoraphobia or claustrophobia as it's mostly known.

This fear developed in me after what Thomas started doing to me. I started closing myself in my wardrobes or sometimes in my room itself.

And then I started feeling as if I'm losing control over myself, hyperventilating and sweating.

I had consulted a doctor about it but when she asked why I closed myself in wardrobes, I just ran out of there. I was just 17 back then, I didn't have much sense in me.
