Ashton's POV
Aria fell asleep on the way, so after we reached my house, I got out of the car and moved to her side. I opened the door and took her into my arms, trying my best not to wake her up.
My butler, Richard, opened the door and his eyes widened before he bowed down in front of me. Probably because, I have never brought a girl to my house. Actually, no one other than my family and Kio have entered this house. And occasionally, some of my men.
I nodded at Richard and moved to my bedroom. I placed her on the bed, removed her coat and boots and covered her with a blanket. And as soon as I placed the blanket on her, she snuggled up into it.
I smiled at her and just stared at her cute sleeping form for a while, then I thought to get some work done.
I cannot search for anything because I don't even know the bastard's full name.
I completed some other work for a while until I felt sleepy. I thought to check up on Aria once.
So I went to my room and opened the door. I hear small whimpers from her. I quickly rush to her side.
"Aria" I call her out softly.
She continues thrashing her arms and legs and murmuring something.
"Chase don't do it."
"Stop it."
"Mom."
"Dad I don't want to go."
These were all I heard.
"Aria!" I shook her awake.
She flinched away from me as soon as she woke up and it broke my heart to see tears streaming down her face.
"No." She cried, moving away from me.
"Shh Aria, it's just me. You're safe." I softly spoke to her, trying to take her trembling hands into mine.
"A-Ashton?" She asked in a timid voice.
"Yes, yes I'm here baby, it was just a dream. You're with me, you're safe." I tried to convince her.
"Ashton." She cried and hugged me tightly.
I hugged her back without wasting a single breath.
"Ashton h-he Ashton" She cried more and I just pulled her closer to me.
"Shh don't cry." I said.
She just cried for a while and I just held her close to me.
Please stop crying Aria, I can't see you in this state.
After she had calmed down, I gave her some water to drink.
"Are you alright now?" I asked, combing my hands in her hair.
