Uttara

First Rasoi

Uttara woke up early the next day in a daze, she got up and saw that she and Abhimanyu were still on the couch, she looked at him sleeping sitting with his head swung back in such an uncomforable position

She gets up and lays him down on a pillow and puts a blanket on him and goes to get ready

Uttara came out with wet hair and her saree tried at the bottom and a blouse and goes infront of the mirror, after a while she comepeltly tied her saree and felt two hands wrap around her waist

"When did you wake up?" Uttara asks as Abhimanyu rests his chin on her shoulder and starts peppering her with kisses on the cruve of her neck

"When you came out of the bathroom, and started getting mad at the saree" He says with his eyes still closed

"And why didn't you get up?"

"I was dreaming" Abhimanyu said half asleep

"And what were you dreaming about?" Uttara said chuckling but Abhimanyu doesn't pay attention to her words and continues nuzzling the curve of Uttara's neck

"Are you going to be like this every morning?"

"Do you want me to be like this every morning?"

"Go get ready, I have to do pooja today and my rasoi"

"Devi do you know how to cook? Should I be concerned?" Abhimanyu teases

"Who knows? Maybe you'll have a salty kheer or a spicy ladoo" Uttara jokes

Abhimanyu opens his eyes with utter fear in them "And I have to eat it no matter what?"

Uttara nodds "You won't eat my cooking?"

"Not if you make a spicy ladoo or salty kheer"

"Okay go get ready quickly"

Uttara leaves to go to go greet everyone and start the pooja

"Pranipaat Draupadi Mata, Pranipaat Subhadra Mata"

"Pranipaat Putri" Draupadi and Subhadra say together

"Where's Abhimanyu?" Subhadra asks

"He's getting ready Mata"

"Bhabhishree what are you making for your rasoi" Pranita asks

"Ladoo and kheer" Uttara said

"Why Bhabhishree? Don't you only have to make one sweet?"

"You'll see Pranita"

Abhimanyu got ready and started looking for Uttara, he couldn't find any one in the palace, not even his sisters who are always running around, but he heard a melodious voice singing and he follows it to see his beautiful wife doing Aarthi in the mandhir and all their family and goes and stands next to his father

Uttara came around with the thali of the pooja and everyone took blessings from it until she came to Abhimanyu

He cupped his hands over the fire looking straight into Uttara's eyes but pulls his hands back and screams in pain

Uttara immediately shoves the thali to Draupadi who was standing on the other side of Abhimanyu and takes Abhimanyu's hand into hers

"You need to pay more attention to what's going on, how can you be so careless-" Uttara says with a mixture of fear, concern and anger but stops herself "You didn't burned" She said looking up drectly into Abhimanyu's eyes

"I didn't"

Uttara throws Abhimanyu's hand down from hers and continues giving the thali to everyone
