Elenor agreed not wanting to dwell on the past as well. They headed to where the festival was held. Elenor could hear whispers coming from all directions and she knew it was towards Lloyd. She turned and gazed up at him. He wasn't wearing anything that would cover up his features and even if he did try hiding it would be inevitable. Everyone around them had already noticed he was the prince of their kingdom. She only could sigh and ignore the loud whispers and gossip that surrounded them.

"Did you invite me out because of this festival?" she asked as they walked around the festival.

Lloyd shrugged, "Is it bad wanting to spend some time with the Marquess' only daughter and the baby sister Richard gushes about?"

"Ha ha very funny, your highness.." Elenor feigned a laugh.

"Call me Lloyd,"

"You know I can't your highness."

Lloyd pouted, "Why not?"

"Because you are his highness and this marquess' daughter dares not."

Lloyd sulked, looking at her with large doe eyes. Elenor tried to ignore it but he kept coming into her sight, sulking even more. Elenor wanted to hide in her room, why was he so god damn handsome!

"..Lloyd," she muttered out.

It was barely audible but he heard it. Lloyd grinned widely. He took her hand and dragged her to one of the food stalls. Elenor tried to shake his hand away but he held on tightly. She sighed and turned her eyes to the food stall. They were selling barbeque meat skewers.

The delicious smell infiltrated her nose and caused her mouth to drool. She hasn't had these in such a long time! She pointed at one and asked the seller of the stall,

"Excuse me sir, how much is this?"

"Only 5 copper!" the man said merrily.

The money system in this world was easy. 50 copper coins was 1 silver coin. 100 silver coins was 1 gold coin. The system was easy because Elenor didn't know how else to come up with a money system so this was the easiest way for her to write it.

"I'll have three." Elenor said, handing him 15 copper coins.

She was about to hand him to money when Lloyd blocked her and paid instead. The man smiled widely, "Thank you, your highness! Please do come again!"

"I can pay for myself you know." Elenor voiced, taking the meat skewers from the seller.

"I'm the man in this relationship," Lloyd smugly said.

She raised an eyebrow, "What relationship?"

Lloyd threw a peace sign at her and winked, "A sweet one."

"...."

"Can you at least give me some reaction."

Reaction? How can she give him a reaction when she was trying not to cringe and die in front of him!? Elenor swore that she did not write him this way.

She cleared her throat, "Anyway don't pay for my things. I can pay myself."

Although she said that, every time she wanted to pay, he would block her and quickly pay, not letting her pay for anything. Elenor frowned, she hated it when someone tried to pay for her things when she already said they didn't need to.

"I said stop paying for me!" she angrily said, taking a bite into her cotton candy that Lloyd bought again with his money.

"But weren't you the one who said I couldn't leave you alone?" he countered, making Elenor swallow down her words.

"..How do you know that..."

Lloyd smiled widely, tapping his finger on his chin as he thought for a mere second before answering her,

"I have my ways,"

"Tch, must have been that Isabella." Elenor muttered annoyed by that snake.

She waved her hand, "I only said that to annoy them."

"Eeh so you don't think it was lovely?"

"Keep your mouth shut or else I will."

"So feisty, is it because I let you call me by my name you're acting like this?"

"....I'm getting a headache because of you."

"Now you know how I feel previously," he winked.

Elenor exasperatedly sighed, "I already learnt from my mistakes so I'm trying my best not to bother you yet you are bothering me instead."

At this point, Elenor could care less of how she spoke to him. Who cares if he was the male lead she pampered and loved, this man here was the devil!

Lloyd laughed, "I know and that's why I'm bothering you now."

Elenor didn't reply back and instead continued looking around the festival for food. Her hands were already filled with various types of food but she continued buying more. Lloyd made note of it and decided to lend her a hand in holding most of the food.

"Oh..thank you." Elenor thanked before turning her attention to some sweets that a stall was selling.

"Why are you buying so much when you can't even finish them?" Lloyd asked, shaking his head when he saw her buying the sweets which he quickly paid for again.

"It's for my people in the estate." Elenor stated, grumbling as the seller ignores her money and takes Lloyd's instead.

"Oh your butler isn't with you today." Lloyd finally realised, glancing around them.

"He was busy in the household because someone decided to visit out of nowhere," Elenor side eyed Lloyd who just grinned.

They stayed in the festival until early evening. Lloyd had things to do so he had to go back to the palace which brought joy to Elenor as she was finally free from him. They went back to her estate with the same carriage along with all the food she had bought. Counting the total amount of money used on the food, she ransacked through the tiny purse she had with her and took out the exact amount.

"Lloyd," she called out his name, gaining his attention.

She extended her hand out to him without a word. He stared at it before copying her action. She smiled and placed the exact amount into his hand. He looked down at his hand which was now fully of money.

"Take it."

"I already said it's alright,"

"I don't like it when people pay for me when I can pay for myself." she retorted, arms folded up to her chest.

Lloyd burst into laughter before giving in and keeping the money.

"Next time, let me pay then." Lloyd said with a bright smile on his face.

'What a god-like smile' Elenor couldn't help but think that. Ah, she really made her male lead too handsome...

"It was fun spending time with you Elenor. Let's do this again soon!" Lloyd beamed as she got off the carriage once they arrived at her estate.

"I never allowed you to call me by my name," she grumbled but he paid no mind to it.

Lloyd waved goodbye to Elenor before he disappeared into his carriage as it rode further away. Elenor heaved out a sigh, glad to be back home. She stared at all the food she had bought from the festival. She could hardly see where she was going because of it.

Elenor took a few steps before she was able to see the front once again. Seeing who had helped her, she couldn't help but smile until her eyes were shaped into crescents.

"Alec!"
